PSP Vi 0.02a Released

Vi (pronounced “vee eye”) for the PSP! Similar to TyDoPad is “PSP Vi” with support for the PalmOne Universal iR keyboard — write, open, and edit text files on your memory stick.
PSP Vi functions much like the powerful linux editor Vi. Although this particular implementation is not nearly as robust due to lack of supported commands and routines. Nevertheless, it’s a terrific start!
Supported Vi commands:
i enter insert mode
Esc leave insert mode (returns to command mode)
command mode:
- :W [filename] or :w [filename] write file
- :O [filename] or :o [filename] open file
(specify full path including ms0:/) - :q or :Q quit PSP Vi
Nice work Nullkill, I’m anxious to see a fully functional Vi editor on the PSP.

Vi is an editor generally used by programmers: lightweight/compact, insert/command mode for easier, quicker editing (if you know what you’re doing), and is supported under every platform–Win/Linux/OSX/Unix and so on.
