This is awesome!! Just this wk I was trying the Stella version.

My cons on that:

“lenghy installation process”
very buggy
and most roms didnt work. Hopefully this is better then stellas and has more game compatability!

Now I know how I’ll be spending my half-hr lunch breaks at work(cough pac-man cough)

Man, this brings back a lot of memories of the good old crappy games. The Atari games weren’t good at all! It’s the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) that made games great!

Roms work Great!! Only issue is Super Breakout. Paddles do not move w/analog and d-pad. Other roms – pitfall, yars revenge, combat, circus atari, E.T.- all work great!! Didnt even know mario bros was on atari… Excellent emulator!!

E.T. is the best game ever for Atari 2600. A close second is Combat…. I know everyone knows Combat…. I was just kidding about E.T. being great hehehehe….

Hey Zx, I’m the guy who had that buddy that made a rude comment on your site way back and you had me banned for a day or two, then we talked and you were pretty cool and unbanned me. I’m sure you remember. I change my sn a lot, so I figured I’d mention it.

Anyway, this is really a fantastic accomplishment. I have never gotten Stella to work, and it is so smooth on this. I’d really love to see you make such a cool version of the MAME emu sometime. That thing is always kind of buggy and the options are limited, like with screen size and game saves. Most of the games dont seem to load either. You would probably make that thing rock with a bit of your tweaking.

Anyway, back to Stella. This is great. THANK YOU!

for the first time ever, I’m able to play a rare game called “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. It turns out its not that great of a game, but thats not the point. The point is, I’m about to load up the classics like Yars Revenge and Pitfall, and that is definitely the shit.

hmmm…god i dunno, if this is jus me or what, but, im sick and tired of atari or other oldschool emulators. Cant hackers jus start developing n64 or ds emulators?

ZX- can u, or anyone verify, that/if the emulator freezes if u have lots of roms loaded to the roms folder. I can only play the default one which is pitfall. As soon as I hit the “load rom”button, it freezes and i have to x-it via the home button.

I cannot get it to work with FW 2.0 using a newly-formatted memory stick and eloader 0.99 or 0.995. I don’t even get any startup screen; as soon as the TIFF exploit happens, it just goes blank and shuts down. Can anyone help?

P.S. I don’t wanna downgrade.

P.P.S. 2600 games on the PSP is so awesome that, if I absolutely have to downgrade, I will (what’s the easiest, safest way?)
