Prometeus 0.9.7B Public Build Available

Dago said it, “new day, new release.” And we have just that for Mac OS X users who enjoy their beloved [hacked] PSP oh so much. Prometeus 0.9.7B (for the public) is now available from developer Dago^WATT.

0.9.7B changes:
- Fixed PSX->PSP builder bug. (Some game crashed on PSP, now maybe not)
- Added GetISO function (You can save ISO from EBOOT.PBP)
- Added PatchIDs function (You can change name and ID of a game)

I dont know what the fuznuck to do wth this either lol.
I have yet to make this work, even after installing the libusb. It bounces once in dock, then shuts down with no errors msg.

y do they always hav 2 improve this f@çking thing??? y don’t thy concentrate on downgrading psp firmwares? that’s more important, holmes…
Its a lil bit harder to make a downgrader versus something like this. Besides, if you don’t know anything about one thing, you can only work on what you do know in hopes of it helping people. and this app does help ppl.
Would be nice if we at least knew someone was looking at the downgrader project though…
This GUI gets too much credit for what its worth… Where are all the updates for Zingaburga’s PC simple popstation GUI on the front page?, it has all the features of Prometeus and more and zinga does’nt even ask for a donation just so you can have “the full version”… Simple Popstation is worth $1 if not more.
Granted, Prometeus is for MAC, but come on… PC is more widely used, the amount of times Prometeus gets updated and put on front page, I’d expect zing’a GUI to get the same attention.
for the record, i’m a multi-platform lover/user.
apple is steadily becoming more widely used then PC’s nowadays. Apple’s taking in more and more percentage of the electronics division. its not even called Apple Computers anymore, its Apple Inc.
I don’t remember Zing putting out a updated version yet. Keep in mind the only thing to hit the front page are new updates and releases. So when it does get an update, it’ll here for sure.
BUt yeah, I do somewhat agree with you, I’m seeing more of this on psp-hacks front page then anything else lately. lol, its one bug fix after another with this thing. Ah well, its how it goes i guess…

Its had many updates since 1.23 and yes I’m happy now.
I’d just like to say I have nothing against MAC or its users, I just felt that Zinga’s program deserved more respect than its getting, compaired to the Prometeus programmer and his GUI.
^^ didn mean to sound agressive there, if i did.
now back to more psp!
