Prometeus 0.9.6B Released
greg | January 5, 2007
A new public build of Prometeus is available for both Intel and PowerPC Mac OS X users. The main addition is PSX ISO compression for Dark_AleX’s 3.03 OE-A firmware. As well you can now specify the game ID number if Prometeus fails to detect it. Of course some bugs have been ironed out too.
Thanks Dago^WATT.

finnaly i cna compress my iso’s and enter the game ID if it doesnt read it. just perfect! thank you watts!
i wanna bang one of the girls in the true AD’s lol
i used to use this program for converting games to cso when I was using Mac, but now im a pc user….
Is there any way to compress a game that is already in the format the PSP uses?
When are we going to get a version for windows users?
LOL
I released the windows source to give other ppl a boost. if i need to make a source for the new then so be it. but not till sometime tomarrow. or was that till after tomarrow. I dunno. We’ll see. Code takes time sometimes. Specially when checking for errors yourself.
yes use autopopstation
Actually, you can’t change the game id. I just tried 3 of my games again, still the same results. They won’t let me make an EBOOT because the Game Id window is unclickable
Progress bar would be nice. And it would be better if the Game ID search were optional via a SEARCH button or so, instead of automatic, as it takes forever and doesn’t always work.
Other than that.. Awesome app!
No fair!! I have windows…sob…
props to you Dago^Watts, for working around the clock to please your fans and improve this app around the feedback you’re getting. I’m about to load it up now!
cant open
dude, this is the first time i ever played Die Hard With A Vengeance, and man I have got to say this is as much fun as GTA on some levels. I mean damn this is some funny shit. I dont know how the hell i missed this when it was in the arcades. I’m familiar with part 2 of course. shooting the hostages and random people is funnier than anything, but man, that driving shit is classic. Rockstar Games must have been taking notes when this came out.
Anyway, thank you. It took a few tries to get it right but I got this thing working with the new feature you added that lets you change the game address.
It has crashed a couple of times though, in the same way as the other titles I mentioned (where it starts slowing down and then freezes). I wonder what causes that…
Also, does anyone have a solution to this problem— When I put a PSX disc in to copy, sometimes the 2 discs show up on the desktop. I notice that happens when the audio files are saved in a seperate partition on the disc. So it shows up on the desktop as a seperate disc, and when it copies to an ISO file, all that stuff is left out. Hence, the games work, but with no soundtrack. Any solutions on how to make this work in Toast?
on a side note, these driving scenes are actually such a splatterfest that Rockstar Games SHOULD be taking notes for their new releases….pwned!
Back on 3.02 OE-B, there was a new Windows pop GUI coming out every 15 seconds…now its all Mac. Kinda sucks for me, but I can wait. Good work on the new version.
3 questions.
1: Is there a PC virsion?
2: Does the PSX -> PSP work on 2.71?
3: Whats the PSX converter like and is it good?
as far as i know, 2.71 homebrew is pretty limited. most people just use the exploit to downgrade to 1.5
unless of course, you like playing stuff like ‘pong’ and ’snakes’
Native PSX emulation does not work on 2.xx at all, period. Upgrade to 3.03 OE
Cheers guys for the help. =]
wow are you in Budapest? Dago^Watts i mean
well i tried donating a dollar and i got this
“We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment.

you should just make the cd ripping upgrade free, since your paypal isnt working. i really needed that today…grr
This is a simple DUMB program. Win32. It NEEDS to be in the SAMe Directory as all the rest of your popstation files. Popstation GUI + Source http://trading-post.sytes.net/forum/download.php?id=295
Above link is wrong. Heres the good one. http://trading-post.sytes.net/forum/download.php?id=296
pro version rocks. ‘Loaded’ and all the other games with that issue of slowing down and crashing, seem to be running smooth. only one left with issues is Resident Evil 2. it still crashes at the cop station.
the soundtrack for Die Hard Trilogy is still MIA, but i dont care im having too much fun playing it now that it no longer crashes.
suggestion for upgrade– make it so you can reverse the Eboot format to an iso that can be burned to a cdr and played in a PS2. i dont know if its possible, but that would rule.
Nice! Thanks Dago^WATT
For Mac PSP users here is another great software for us.
