Edison Carter has released a new version of his CheatDevice for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. In addition to all the other features, v2.3 adds “Construction Mode” — along with a sample cheat (overpass.txt).
Now you can do all this:
- Construction Mode

nothing new besides construction mode.
anyone checkd it out yet? check the cheat file and see if anything new was put into it.
I wish they would make this so you dont need devhook if they could that would own

@War, yes it does work with 3.02OE-B or any other firmware where you can load prxes.
And what exactly is construction mode? o_O
this looks great, but i cant use iso or cso files anymore in 3.02 OE-B
it looks like they are designed to run EASIER, with no umd needed, but if so i cant find a way to set it up correctly. anyone?
also, is there any way of getting FASTLOADER and IRSHELL working on this new custom fw?
i hate the same problem with vice city …. hell … im pretty expirenced in setting op both 2.71 se and this open edition should be just as easty ? … what am i doing worg … sry if this has been answered but i need to know fast
not sure about the new games yet, but the older iso and cso files seem to load fine as long as a umd is in the drive….doh!

Try to disable no-umd and anything that affects iso/cso loading. And yes there is a way, just put the files of fastloader/irshell in GAME150

killzone liberatin works fine … and as bieng one of the new games i EXPECT an explanation why …or what setting i have to use as iv tryed em all i think……if this module have been working for you in 3.02 oe-b plz hand over the settings :D thx in advance master
tried that, fastloader no longer shows up at all, same with IrShell
one thing though, is that there was an IRSHELL271 folder inside the GAME271 folder…i wonder about that

hey this is a very nice improve from the other VCS cheat devices. but can you make a cheat to stop the mission time? not the normal time but the mission time. for example the time that appears when u do the ambulance missions… pls this would be very useful
I have loaded this prx, put the game.txt in the seplugins folder, enable the prx, and booted vcs iso, but there is no menu loaded for the cheat device. Using the eloader, I remember holding the R+L and up or something to get the menu to appear, but I can’t seem to bring it up using the prx. This is the first prx I have ever used. Any help?

When i trun this prx on in recovery plugins, vice city has no sound and the home button doesnt work, anyone else have the same problem?, im currently on 3.02 OE-B

I followed all the instructions, but the cheat device wont load in the game HELP!!!!!!!
the game loads up fine but the cheat device doesnt load
the cheat device works if you enable it in recover mode in custome firmware.

you make a seplugins folder in the root of your memory stick and place all of your prx files in their. just download prx pack for 2.71 se-c and extract files to the seplugins folder. then use recovery mode by holding left trig and right trig plus start at the same time to access it go to plugins and enable one or to because to many will cause the game to run glitchy.
how can i get that work on 3.02 oe.b i cant load it in the recovery mode but why???????
hi i load it up and it all runs smoothly but the auto installer installs version 2.1a instead of 2.3 but when i get 2.3 going i dont see construction mode in the cheat menu any ideas ?? thanx
