I think guys.. to make things easier.. use the backuped copy of ur 302’s F1 folder from the previous devhook and overwrite the F1 in the new one. In this way, u dun have to reboot ur PSP at all.. All settings are set as how it is for 3.02.. Rmb it’s just a security update and a must for recent PSX games.. So just use the F1 from 302.

@lando786, No! Don’t. This will only be for FW 1.50 users (or those custom firmwares). Not 2.80+ .. (but 2.80 is now available too downgrading tho..).

If you update your psp firmware to the official (sony) 3.02 you will not be using any homebrew in a very long time.

This is great but all abit to unecessary for me right now as i have 3.02oe-b. not only does oe-b mean psx emulation of my own and purchased games but also gives the added convience of loading iso off the game folder on my psp. and i also dont have to keep exiting firwares to use homebrew. its the perfect firware allowing features of 1.5 and 3.02 and u have a recovery mode to revert back to 1.5. this is still a great acheivment.

I have the 3.02 OE-B loaded and I tried using the previous Devhook for 3.02 in the hopes of getting a couple of 2.81 iso files to load. I kept getting that blue screen and nothing really happened beyond that. I would shut down and restart and that would be it. Plus, so far I havent been able to find any setting on there that will let me successfully load iso files like the previous devhooks. I know it’s SUPPOSED to, but so far it doesnt seem to work.

Also, I was wondering if it were possible to dump the 1.5 firmware into any of these devhook versions and load 1.5 off the memory stick while running 3.02 OE-B? I want to be able to use Fastloader and IR Shell again…

This is good, but could be better cough cough than 0E-B if it had the PSX emu and Remote Play which is nit included in 0E-B. I have 2 psp’s the one with a Datel won’t load PSX games so havind Devhook load that would be awesome. Booster you’re the man……..bring us the PSX and remote play……please.

this is nice, although 3.02 OE-B is alot better ’cause you don’t need do go through devhook and it even has the psx emulator (FF7 and Metal Gear Solid all the way!). But it is a great release for my brother (who doesn’t know about 3.02 OE-A and OE-B) Nyahahaha! :)

Can’t you run this on 2.71 if you run HEND? It should work since you can run Devhook 0.51 BETA on 2.71 using HEND.

I went to Target and traded my 3.03 PSP with my friend who bought it off of me for a brand new TA-082 with 2.71… loaded the EZ Downloader and now I got 1.5!!! all you guys who have an un-homebrewable FW just get a different PSP, thats the only way!!! Good luck!

What i don’t understrand, if the PSOne emu was part of the 3.00/3.01/3.02 firmware, and DevHook can emulate those firwares, why can’t we play PSOne games with DevHook?

Devhook is still in the game. I have alot of faith. Datels 4 gig worked 4 me in previous versions. I think if you guys could figure out how to overclock the psp the hardrives will work again. Stay positive.

This WORKED.. I tried to change Character Set (no reason.. -_-;;) to Korean, then devhook 0.52 is not working.. after I start it, my PSP just turns off.. why? bug?

i’m getting some issues while installing it…. i’m quite scared of the BSOD

it works, let me explain my steps. before i begin, make sure you have firmware 1.5 version, battery bar 75% above and power socket is turn on and plug to your psp.

backup all important stuff using “PSP Content Manager” (http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Content-Manager-v1.4-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/10358/catid/190), saved all saved files, mp3 and pictures in your desktop for easy restore.

then format your memory stick ( system setting > format memory stick) in psp to remove any data inside.

after that, restore backup files from pc to psp by drag and drop to correct location example mp3 to mp3 section etc with “PSP Content Manager”

1. download all files as shown on below the guide which are 3 zipped files and 1 exe files, (DH0520000.rar, PSAR-Dumpa—ASB–.rar, PSP_303_UPDATE.RAR, pbp-unpacker-094-setup.exe)
2. extract DH0520000.rar, go to the folder MS_ROOT, copy everything inside to your memory stick. apply yes to overwrite.
3. install pbp-unpacker-094-setup.exe, run the application, open the EBOOT.PBP once you have unrar the PSP_303_UPDATE.RAR file.
4. in the unpacker application, there are 4 files within the EBOOT.PBP file, extract one of the file named DATA.PSAR by right click and copy to your ms0:/ (memory stick root)
5. unrar PSAR-Dumpa—ASB–.rar to your psp into folder ms0:/PSP/GAME
6. unplug your psp, go to and enter , then press “X” to execute the program.
7. Run DevHook v0.52.
8. Select “Flash Install.”
9. Select “Setup firmware from PSAR dumper.”
10. Read the disclaimer, and press “O” or the “Circle” button if you agree with it.
11. Once it is done, go back to the main DevHook v0.52 screen.
12. Select “Firmware.”
13. Select “Firmware 3.03.”
14. Select “Start.”
15. Reboot the PSP.
16. Load DevHook v0.52 again and start FW3.03.
17. It should say that the setup information is corrupt (BSoD), just press “O” or “Circle.” ,
18.your psp will reboot automatically.

Iac paly my umd game smackdown no problem go to HOMe and quit the game again no problem but I have fifa on the memeory stick and when I come out of that ie home quit the psp ALWAYS freezes i then have to reboot and go through the whole flash process again I have installed it 3 times the only problem i seem to have is a step 19 nwhere it ask me to load devhook again but comes up software corrrupt will not let me ree

I have a 32 mb memory card, when I run the PSAR dumper the psp says that the memory card is full.

And when I run devhook and select firmare and then select 3.03 and then press circle it goes back to the devhook menu.

ok i had try all my best to lunch the devhook v0.52 on my psp fwv3.03 but it look like wont work at all n also the new downgrader already release also already try but also cannot work n the problem now i think was my psp not the software nor the hack it seem like any thing that i place on my ms also cannot work please tell me why this will happen actually i was download the update firmware v3.03 at the psp official website it that mean i cannot run anything on it so please help me to fix the problem and maybe yhere were some other way to downgrade my psp please help me

i just installed devhook 0.52; under “flash install” i selected “Setup firmware from PSAR dumper” as instructed. does this actually flash anything to the psp? and say i wanna uninstall devhook 0.52, do i still have to unflash anything or could i just erase all the files from my memory stick? thanks!

Hi guys.. i’m having some problem when running the PSAR dumper. when i selected the option on my psp then immediately i press the X button. but nothing happens untill it shut off itself. I’m on a 2.71fw(I’m not sure isit SE) i use to run Devhook 0.46. Anybody can help me. Pls email me.Thanks

How do i use the pbp unpacker… i opened it and selecter the open data.psar but what do i open?
