sweetness love how people just make shit to right along with the amazing progess that booster is doing busting up the fw’s, i was at 2.71 for the longest time even when i was aqquiring 2.80+ games that i wasnt being able to play, i sort of noticed after uping to dh .5.0.100.1000 wetf it is, that not all the fw files were ms accessable anymore, which started making problems for me since wallpaper was no longer storable in the theme directory, making my BG be blank balck everytime i turned my psp off and back on, hopefully this sorts that issue as im still loading the files i wanna use on my ms, let you all know soon REALLY SOON…………………….it wa so soon i can already say AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!! nice work mate youll have a name for yourself way sooner than you think if you keep at this pace.

hey M_Roc judging off this i can tell you really really know your shit, can i ask you to make me something really custom…earlier some several pages back it was claimed that someone made a 1.5 flasher to have a soft reset on 1.5, very similar to how (home+start) resets the dh fw’s i want a flasher to load a reset option to my 1.5 fw cause honestly im getting really annoyed with having to hold the power switch just to get back into my dh. before you tell me to try the other post i DID and its no where compatable with 1.5, i mean the eboots arnt even properly formatted with 2 diffrent directories you know the standard ( directory1 directory2(%) ). anyway let me know. Thanks.

sorry something i just now noticed, your screen shot is obvious fw 3.0+ seeing how no fw’s below that have any kind of camera capabily… but your desricption 1.5,2.0,2.5,2.6,2.71 did you just forget to add 3.0 also, or did i somehow glitch it to work on my 3.02?

Well, its not really in v2 im also working on a v3 that works with 1.5-3.02(dh).thats where the screen shot came from.and it fixes like 1 bug..theres not many bugs i only fixed it to work good with 3.02 dh’s. look at the topic for more updates on that:

I dont really know about the SE-C . Never used SE-C or any SE FW. Meybe its just a theme flash installer.

I’ll have to update to 2.71 SE-C to make sure.

and yes you can copy the files from the theme pack to devhook files.

No, it is for regular 1.5 FW. The devhook part is that you can also “flash” the theme to the DH FW’s. so you dont have to keep copying and pasting all the time to make your psp custom. Themes your 1.5, and DH 2.0 – 2.71, so far. in the update im working on works with DH 2.80-3.02

LOL. well its great to hear this. The psp backgrounds turn white because the background its preety huge file size. so it takes 2 times to load them. thats all.

is there any risk in trying this on a SE-C since it says only for 1.5? i’m not any noob or anything but i just dont wanna mess with things that has to do wit flash

Um.. the PS3 theme in the themnes folder shows the bg, but doesn’t change the font. The added PS3 theme shows the font, but no bg. Well, for me.

You can use devhook to test it out. all you need is devhook .46 (.51 DH is in a beta right now, only supports 2.71-3.02)but with this app you can “flash”(its relly just copying the files from the theme to the right spots in the DH files).. i recomend testing it on dh 2.71.

all you have to do is when you load the themepsp v2 app in game, when it loads up press D-pad right intill you go to:
Devhook FW 2.71

thats all

you dont need to flash it, you can devhook it also.
flash is for if you want the theme on your 1.5 psp

I installed the prog,… and installed the new ps3 theme. but it doesnt show up. not even with devhook .46.i have a 1.5 psp so i should be working,.. ( i also have that hybrid 2.71 se thing on my psp,… and it seems that the hybrid theme makes it impossible to use the ps3theme anywhere on your psp) If someone understands my bad english,.. help please

killer2 : did you get a blue sreen error (bsod) or did you get a red screen error (rsod)?
if you had a blue screen error,.. then dont worry, it will all be ok. if it was a red screen error,.. then your probl screwed.

Beware flashing applications… There is a limit to the number of times you can do it… Everytime you flash, you move one step closer to a brick…

Doesn’t mean you can’t do it as you can probably get away with 100 or so flashes but be warned, there is an unknown limit…

I have tested my app 1000 times. if you just follow the steps right.. your ok. if you mess with the files in the themes that you dont know what your doing. you might brick..i never bricked. its simple.

i just ran it on my psp with SE-C using irshell it bricked my psp!!
Don’t do it if your on SeC
thankfully i had the recovery menu so i just had to restore it back to SE-C the best way if you want to have the fancy ps3 look is to flash 1 or 2 of the best looking backgrounds onto your psp using xflash 17b and do the same for the font

i used this file and since using it all i get when i boot up my psp is the blue error message i tried pressing circle and nothing happens just keeps booting back to the blue file any ideas or any websites where i can read up on this?

you dont have to flash this guys…and I have it running on 3.02 also
follow this guide I found in the original post
gameboot(*.pmf) goto: X:\DH\30x\f0\vsh\resource
Font(*.pgf) goto: X:\DH\30x\f0\font
background(*.bmp) goes: X:\DH\30x\f1\vsh\theme
you may have to copy all the *.bmp files to your “PHOTO” file also, then just select the one you want to use as the wallpaper…works awsome,and no flashing involved 100% safe!

if you value your psp’s life,.. dont use this program until there is a good release,….i used this thing,… i did everything the right way, but it doesnt work and im not gonna try it again,.. cause it seems kinda buggy,. { a psp theme prog its fun, but it isnt worth the bricking chance ( no offense to the creators offcourse, its always good to see more and improved free software for the psp )

I’ll Stick to altering these files manually, if you know how to read then there are plenty of tutorials out there to tell you how to do it. as with any program that involves writing to the flash (wether it does the hard work for you or not) if you don’t know what it’s doing, or rather what you’re doing, you probably shouldn’t be doing it. there are plenty of resorces out there to teach you how to do what you want to do. Just thinking some people should try to educate themselves a little is all.

if you read up about 3 0r 4 posts… i tell a way to do it w/ out flashing….100% safe NO falshing needed.

this cause me my psp to show always the setting information corrupted. now i \cannot use completley my psp..beacause of this.,,shen i on my psp. i just see a sony entertainment logo then the sytem information corrupted page will appear..pls help me guys

M_roc is a piece of siht who riped off another programmer (SodR) and just changed the readme and some pictures, if he was any real programmer he would have fixed the bugs in themepsp so it didn’t BRICK MY PSP!!!!!!!!!!!
