All-in-One DevHook v0.51.0100 Package

greg | December 11, 2006

Calling all noobs! Here we have Zephyrus’ all-in-one DevHook package for both standard 1.50/2.71 SE users and folks running 2.71 with HEN-D — the TA-082 motherboard crowd.

These two packages are bundled with everything you require, hence the “All-in-One” title. As well as the usual from Zephyrus — a structured noob-friendly approach with an extremely detailed readme. The readme will guide you through installing “DevHook v0.51.0100″ with firmware 3.02, or any other firmware for that matter. Keep in mind 2.8x-3.0x require a sigchecked dump, unique to your PSP.

Currently, there are two packages for you to choose from. If you’re on firmware 1.50 – 2.71 SE, the first pack “ZAiO-DH0510100.zip” is what you should get as it contains everything you need to know to go through, and most importantly, getting firmware 3.02 to load successfully on DevHook v0.51.0100.

The other package, “ZAiO_HEND-DH0510100.zip”, is obviously for users with firmware 2.71 on the cursed TA-082 mobo as it includes HEND and everything else needed, from getting your sigchecked 3.02 dump, running DevHook v0.51.0100 and emulating 3.02 successfully. A glimpse of what’s inside the package: HEND, DEVHOOK0.4X (with included 1.50 dump) and 0.51 launcher port for 2.71 by Dark_AleX, and tommydanger’s DevHook Firmware Installer v0.5b.

Zephyrus personally recommends it’d be best that current HEN users back up their important data, and perform a fresh format of the memory stick before installing this pack.

He’d also like to extend his thanks to tommydanger from the QJ forums for his DevHook Firmware Installer v0.5b.

Download:
DevHook v0.51.0100 Package for 1.50 – 2.71 SE
DevHook v0.51.0100 HEN-D Package for 2.71 (TA-082 owners)

Comment by hellfireagg

why do you do that? just use a downgrader to get 1.5 and install 2.71sec you got a lot more options and great support

Yeah, it works on any 2.71 firmware PSP. But if you don’t have a TA-082 mobo, just downgrade your PSP with updateflasher.

I have the same problem and too am new to PSP Homebrew. I have created the ISO folder and copied the ISO in. Now how do I launch it? Do I use the dev hook .5 Beta and tell it to load ISO and point it at the ISO file? If so that does not work! All I have go the patch kit to do is boot a real game the required a 2.81 upgrade. But I want to use it to boot my homebrew stuff. How should I go about booting ISO’s in my ISO folder?

If you’re using SE-C you have to copy the specified folders to the GAME150 folder, not the GAME folder. Failure to do so will cause your PSP to simply shut down when trying to run the programs.

You could also change the kernal mode from the recovery menu instead, but it’s easier to just copy the folders to GAME150.

Hi helper, I’m being a total noob, got the iso folder on the root with an iso file. When I start up Devhook, I select ‘UMD Select’ then ‘File Emulation’ and then select the ISO.
The CPU clock is set to 333/166MHz
For instance if I select the 3.01 firmware then start Devhook, my PSP reboots with the Firmware set to 3.01, the game is no where to be seen.
When I try and run Devhook again I get “This game cannot be started. The data is corrupted”.
Any help would be mostly appreciated.

You’ll just have to go to the Photo menu each time you restart your PSP and run HEND, then when it reboots after an successful execution of HEND, run the DEVHOOK0.51 launcher BETA for 2.71 in the Game menu and do the rest. To put it simply, you’ll have to repeat just that step if you ever restart your PSP (hard reset, not standby mode though). Read the readme for a tad bit more info. ^_^

2006-12-11 22:24:10

Yes, you can upgrade to 2.71 firmwar and then install using my pack. There’s nothing left for you on 2.6, TA-082 users should all get 2.71, but don’t go beyond that. ^_^

I see no point on releasing more packages/firmware until Devhook doesn´t achieve 333MHz WiFi and full stability (this applies to the packages as they have moddified stuff)

“Beta” packages are released. Now the next release should be a 3.02 with no reboots, no X-O changes, no lockups at 333MHz Wifi, etc.

Hi Zephyrus. I have a 2.7 FW TA-082. I got up to the step 2 folder and after I flashed and start the devhook, the screen just goes black, sometimes it goes into it but then it frezzes. I found out it was the umd, when I take it out it emulates 3.01 but when I pop the umd back in it frezzes. I followed every step that you told me to do. Do you know what the problem is?

I even installed the 2.82 and 3.00 devhook, both failed to work, but I got to 2.82 and it saids “The disc could not be read.”

Comment by Zephyrus

Download the desired firmware you want to install, well, DevHook 0.51 supports only 2.8-3.02 right now, so yeah, once you get the desired update you want, throw the EBOOT.PBP into the root of your memory stick, replacing the 3.02 one that I had it my package and run the installer. It’ll auto detect the version of your firmware and dumps it + throw into /dh/xxx/ folder (xxx being the firmware dumped).

this SAYS devhook 51.0100 FOR TA082
is it 51.0100 or just 51.0000? (for ta082)

Comment by Zephyrus
2006-12-11 22:32:31

It is v0.51.0100. The launcher for 0.51.0100 did not change from 0.51.0000. The update was in the dh/05/kd/ folder, devhook.prx (this is the 0.51.0100 update) and a few others. Therefore, it is v0.51.0100 for TA-082 users.

Well, you didn’t read the readme, because I’ve added instructions in there. Please read the readme before you do anything next time. To fix your button back to the US/EU style, you’ll have to redump the 3.02 with the US/EU installer. Refer to readme for more info.

To fix your button back to your US/EU set, just follow the instructions from the readme and replace the existing installer with the one in the US/EU folder, then do a re-dump of 3.02 (make sure you have the 3.02 EBOOT.PBP at the root of memstick) and you’re all good. ^_^

Throw in the installer US-EU folder to the root of your memstick and replace the existing installer over, then do a redump and you should be fine. Make sure to place the 3.02 EBOOT.PBP back to the root of your memstick though. ^_^

yes.,….. delete all devhook files… (copy them into the computer for

1. Extract and install folders in the right place
2. get psar dumper to decrypt your desired firmware
3. when finish transfer the F0 file to the folder
(ex. Ms0:/dh/302) and overwrite any existing file)
4. go to game and run devhook
5. select decrypted firmwre from firmware list
6. Install Flash1 files (the first one that shows up)
7. upgrade to 2.71 SE-C once again
8. tranfer the devhook eboot from game to game150
9. Run devhook and select start
10. Be Happy

SO, I”m a 4 day NOOB, with main firmware of 1.5 and I”m having the same problem as “SimpleMan”. I can only get mine to boot up into 3.02. then I can mount my emulated isos but they never show up in the game menu or anything. all of my other firmwares 2.71-3.01 just crash the psp then I have to turn it back on. do I need to install those others to get them to work? if so how. is there a way to play isos/cso/other homebrew from 1.5? should I just say screw it and upgrade to 2.7se and do it all again or is 1.5 the way to stay? Any help would be very very welcomed! thanks everyone!

Make sure that you have a UMD in the drive, as you need one there for File Emulation.

Comment by Zephyrus
2006-12-11 22:46:40

Well, there are compatibility issues that I forgot to mention in the readme. Try to run older games that requires 2.71 and below with the older devhook or SE instead of trying to run them using 3.02 because some of the older games do not load on 3.02 or crashes. I’ve personally testified to that. Don’t forget, DevHook 0.51 is still a beta. (:

B-Vorry, from what you’ve told me. You’re now on 3.02 because you upgraded, right? If that’s the case, you’re screwed because homebrews only runs on 2.71 and below. Nobody should update beyond 2.71 to run my packages.

The reason why homebrews are “corrupted” and shows error and doesn’t play is because your PSP firmware is 3.02 and there’s no exploits on it to let you run any homebrews right now. It is in fact the latest firmware update. What DevHook (or my package) does is to enable people using 1.50 – 2.71 to emulate 3.02. And by emulate, I mean, just emulation and can switch back to their original fw at any time. So, once again, if you have 3.02, you’re screwed.

DevHook 0.51 is still under beta, therefore there are bugs and that is just one of them. Freezing upon exiting games. There are game compatibility issues with older games too, so if it’s possible, use your older devhook for your older games because they have higher compatibility.

Like I said, there’s no risks involved, it flashes to flash1. But if you don’t want to flash over, it’s fine. It’ll still work but flashing will prevent any future BSoD (blue screen corrupted settings in 3.02) you might get. I assure you that it is completely safe to do the flashing process. (:

Hello, I might sound quite n00bish, but I am mainly trying to load a CSO file on my PSP, I am running a NON TA-082 MOBO, and I am running FW 1.50.

My dilemma is that I am trying to use Devhook 4.6 (I believe?… I know it has those numbers in it…) and I’ve loaded the game once when I was messing around trying to install the newest devhook, I used the previous devhook package, which was by far the easiest out of all of the packages, where it was an application file for Windows, where, you just direct it towards the root of your memory stick, and just tell it what you want it to load, I also tried using an unusually suspicious DevHook modded version that came with the CSO I downloaded, it called itself a FW 2.71-3.01 Hybrid, I installed it being the curious self that I am, and I’m not sure if it did anything with bad repercussions. My main problem, is that the game (Metal Gear Solid PO) requires FW 2.80 or higher, but I am using the package that installed FW 2.71, so it won’t run, although I did manage to somehow run it once, but my main problem was that the O and X buttons were switched, so I foolishly just exited the game, trying to solve that issue.

Now whenever I try and load the CSO, it simply loads the PSP loading video, and then, the screen goes black, the memory stick light flashes, showing that it’s in use, but that’s all, I’ve waited about 5 minutes for the game to load, but it’s just a black screen.

Any help would be appreciated

Try connecting to an Apple OSX system and running ‘System Profiler’ to find all the info associated with your psp while it’s hooked up via usb. Try googling some of those numbers until you find whatever database they are associated with. Eventually you will find the region coding system for whatever the original factory firmware was for that unit. You might have a unit that was originally installed with European firmware. If you bought it on Ebay that’s highly likely. I had a bunch of problems with the button mapping on mine, eventually including stuck buttons which would make almost every function of the psp somewhat unusable. Needless to say, I got a new one.

Getting past that however, theres also ‘the trick’ to loading 2.8x firmware games on a regular 2.71 devhook. just load the devhook menu, click on “other menu” then “sfo version” then “2.xx” then back to the main menu and make sure “umd” is set to “umd+any iso” (or something like that) and hit start. then when it loads into 2.71 and you are looking at the main psp menu, hold down “home” and click the outer L and R buttons and notice the names of your iso’s will scroll back and forth. “they have to be installed into a folder named “iso” that you create in the root directory of your memory card (the file area you see when you first open your memory card folder on the computer). very important there is no umd in the drive when booting 2.71 or your psp might freeze and need rebooting (no damage done, just annoying). Once you have selected the game you want, then go to the menu column where you would normally see the game icons loading, and put any random umd disc (as long as its a game or a demo, and not a movie) into your umd drive and watch the icon for the game you have selected load instead of whatever is on the umd. click it to start like any other game.

hope that helps.

Question to Zephyrus about this–

“Keep in mind 2.8x-3.0x require a sigchecked dump, unique to your PSP”

earlier somewhere, several months prior to this firmware’s release, i read somewhere that Sony had been rewriting the web browsing software (for newer firmware versions) in more invasive ways, which would enable them to keep track (via websites visited by the psp) of what version of firmware they were running and whether or not this firmware was being run off the memory card or not. Between this, and the proverbial carrot on a string for all of this being the PS1 games that people would need to pay for online via credit card, what’s to stop them from using this as one enormous bait and trap system to track down all the homebrew users?

Comment by Zephyrus
2006-12-12 10:54:15

Well, let’s see, our question is actually irrelevant to my statement. And what you’ve said are just speculations, besides, there are a million users out there using homebrew and homebrew are legal. DevHook is legal too, as long as you don’t go around spreading your dumps (which won’t work on other PSP anyway). So, in my sense, your question is abundant.

Comment by Wacko the Clown
2006-12-12 13:17:24

I didn’t realise you were such a confrontational person or I wouldn’t have wasted my time with this. And I think you meant “redundant”, though my question is probably shared by many so your statement could be true in that sense.

I wasn’t trying to berate your abilities in any way. In fact, I am glad that people like you are out there doing things like this for people. So you must have misunderstood where I was coming from with this. Either that, or you are getting stressed from responding to all these people and are snapping a little. Either way it was uncalled for and I didn’t appreciate it at all.

Sony could be doing a lot of things. Homebrew users in general, whether they stay within legal limits or not with their activities, could be profiled into unlawful categories in the eyes of Sony by default. So these are valid concerns I think. If you want to nitpick over this and insult me, that’s your own issue. I’m not here saying all this stuff to disrespect your homebrew and get people not to use it or anything. I just think the Sony store might be a trick to get people’s real names and machine codes assembled into a database of some kind. Some people might not give a shit about that. If you want to look at it as wild speculation that’s your opinion. Some people out there would probably agree this is a valid concern, and this is written more for them at this point.

so, take care and sorry we got off on the wrong footing there.
happy holidays to you anyway

keep making homebrew!

OK, For All The Noobs Out There (and people who can’t be bothered to read the threads) I,m Going To Put This In CAPS:-

1. THIS IS NOT A DOWNGRADER

2. THIS WILL NOT WORK ON ANY FIRMWARE ABOVE 2.71 SO DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES UPGRADE. IT WILL, HOWEVER WORK IF YOU HAVE ANY FIRMWARE FROM 1.5 TO 2.71

3. (FOR THE REAL NOOBS) DEVHOOK ONLY EMULATES HIGHER FIRMWARE THAN WHAT YOUR EXISTING FIRMWARE IS.

4. NO – YOU CAN’T USE THIS ON FW 2.80

5. NO – YOU CAN’T USE THIS ON FW 2.81

6. NO – YOU CAN’T USE THIS ON FW 2.82

7. NO – YOU CAN’T USE THIS ON FW 3.00

8. NO – YOU CAN’T USE THIS ON FW 3.01

9. NO – YOU CAN’T USE THIS ON FW 3.02

10. HOPE THIS CLEARS THINGS UP ONCE AND FOR ALL!

just to bump my issue (shame on me…)
I don’t have access to a Mac, and I prefer to use Windows anyway, because for some reason, the PSP I’m using doesn’t particularly enjoy being hooked up to a USB through a mac… and sometimes doesn’t even show up, besides, my computer at home has a built in card reader, so I prefer to use that, so I can leave my PSP on it’s GBA emulator or something that I don’t want to exit out of…
anyways… also, when I tried out the file for download here (the newest DevHook) when I ran the file, it said that… I believe… some sort of system file was missing… *sniffle* it hurt my feelings…
perhaps it would be better, if someone emailed me, because I check that a bit more frequently, preferably someone who’s experienced with this, and they’re running a NON TA-082 mobo, with FW 1.50 and perhaps also running the FW 2.71 that comes with an installer pack that was previously featured on psp-hacks.com, (would that be considered the SE? because I know that I can almost run homebrews, it doesn’t give me the “game cannot be started” error message, it just goes to a black screen, (and I believe) shuts itself off after around 10 seconds.
…anyways…

I ran through the installer under 2.71 se-c and it worked perfect. Unfortunately I was not paying enough attention and missed the x-o button swap in the readme.. Now that I flashed the f1 with the config, how can I get this to work? Any help would be great!

Just make a redump and make sure this time you throw in the correct installer (the us/eu one) and you should be all good to go! ^_^

It doesn’t brick your PSP and the flashing is optional. And even if you flash, it’s only to flash1, no way of bricking your PSP.

What’s the NEXT STEP after this-
- After you’ve completed the steps above, Run the pbp with the title
“DEVHOOK0.4X launcher for 2.71″. Adjust the settings as per below:

UMD SELECT > UMD Disc
FIRMWARE > 1.50
CPU CLOCK > 222MHz /111MHz
BOOT SELECT > reboot XMB

OTHER MENU > UMD SFO VERSION > 2.xx to 2.00

Comment by Zephyrus
2006-12-13 04:20:52

Start DevHook and emulate 1.50, then run the “DevHook Firmware Installer” and get your dump, then turn off PSP and the rest are in the readme.

I used the Ultimate Installer (1.5.4) to get 2.71SE-C and Devhook hybrid 0.4x installed. As per the readme I was expecting your package and 0.51 to run alongside 0.4x. 0.4x is now crashing to power off whenever I hit start. 0.51 runs fine however.

Many thanks, great work :o)

Hi,

I have only just got my PSP which is a TA-082 running 2.71 with HENb. This looks ideal as i have already loaded ISOs that want 2.81 FW. I am a bit nervous about doing this though. If I do it with a different memory card and it goes wrong can i use my original card to go back? hope that makes sense. I can be reached on nigel.wickersham@ntlworld.com if you prefer.

Thank you so much for you help

Yes. The flash can be uninstalled from the DevHook 0.51 menu. “FLASH INSTALL” is the option. Then 3rd option to uninstall flash1 files.

So let me get this right. I f i use this program does it makes My PSP 3.* FW. Reading the forums it would seem that once a machine is updated beyond 2.71 it cant be put back but this contradicts that. Am I missing something? I will be on MSN on tyhe email above if you have to time for a chat to put me straight. I would be gutted if i ended up with not being able to play ISOs ect but do want to paly the latest games.

Your help is much appreciated, Thank you

If you’re on firmware 1.50 – 2.71, you can use this to EMULATE firmware 3.02. It doesn’t make your PSP firmware 3.02. It EMULATES 3.02 off your memory stick.

I don’t get you –”odd original UMD game”? If you meant original UMD games, yes it does. All you do is to disable the emulation and enable UMD disc then you can actually play any UMD up to 3.02 you own. (:

Comment by Zephyrus
2006-12-13 07:11:17

This is the limitation/bug by devhook itself. There’s a fix by Guilouz in maxconsoles forums, go take a look there if you really want 333mhz wifi but I’ve heard it has some issues with certain games/compatibility. That’s why I didn’t include it in my package.

Stop asking people to use the psar dumper. Because, my package includes the devhook firmware installer by tommydanger that will do the job of dumping and stuff, all you need is the EBOOT.PBP. All are included in my package.

Do I run the beta .51 and chose emulation not UMD from the menu? (If so I see the ISO there and select it) Then I try and run the DevHook it does nothing. How else can you select you ISO file to run? Only from the DevHook Install app? or should they be in my memmory card as a game? Damit how do I boot a ISO in my ISO folder? MSN me warren.murphy@gmail.com GMT +2

Murphy – I had the same problem and found that putting a different UMD in took care of it. I found that I could not run my ISO with Lumines in the drive but when I put Lumines II (newer firmware requirement) the ISO for the game I was running worked fine. This was the case on both my 1.5 & 2.7 PSP’s.

Zephyrus: I did follow your instructions up to the point which I have to run the DEVHOOK0.51 BETA for 2.71 but It allways take me back to the screen The game could not be started (80020001).
I already tried this process several times hard-reseting my psp. The second time I ran the Tiff it never detected it until the second try. When I ran the Devhook0.4x launcher for 2.71it shows in the screen “The game could not be started (8001002)”. Although, I am running now in 1.5FW, so I guess it did work. Then, I dump properly with Devhook Firmware Installer but when I got back to the XMB and try to run DEVHOOK0.51 BETA for 2.71 send me to the screen “The game could not be started (80020001)”. What am I doing wrong please help…!

I had the same problem as you igm21, you want to be in 2.7 HenD when you run the Devhook launcher, not 1.5, you need to get into 1.5 to do the install process. After that it is a matter of running the Tiff followed by the Devhook. Hope this helps.

Ok, let me get this straigt: I need to run first the Devhook0.4x launcher for 2.71 as I did. Set up for
UMD SELECT;
FIRMWARE;
CPU CLOCK;
BOOT SELECT;
OTHER MENU;
then should I start Devhook or just exit?
That way I stay on 2.71 am I rigth?
and then run the Devhook Firmware Installer?
and finally the DEVHOOK0.51 BETA for 2.71?
How do I re run tiff after dump? Cuz when I go back to the pic never runs again under 1.5…

Can you help a little bit more Slickx45? TNX

I know this sounds like a dumb question but for some reason the only way i can get video (movies) files to work is by using older programs (psp movie creator to be specific) where on the root of the memory stick it puts the MP_ROOT folder, and the other subfolder and mp4 files inside that are names all funky. I have 1.5 firmware and have never added the new VIDEO folder and don’t know where the heck to put it or even if it is supported with this new devhook. Could someone please tell me if the VIDEO folder goes on the root or in the PSP folder and if it is supported or if I am doing something wrong. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello everyone! I’d just like to say thank you to all the people involved in the creation of this newbie release of DevHook! However, I have a question, as I’m getting a PSP soon and I don’t think I understand exactly. For the TA-082 motherboard pack, which is what I’m assuming I’ll have getting the Entertainment Pack, does this newbie pack downgrade the PSP to version 1.5 or does it just install directly to 2.71 and just emulate 3.02? I’m completely new to this, but I really want to run emulation software on my PSP when I get it, but I have no clue how to go about it. If anyone would be so kind as to help me out, I have the following contacts:

From what I can see, noone using a 1.5 psp is playing any isos. I also installed devhook and i can not run any isos. All the isos are under the iso folder. When I install devhook .46 they work, but with this one nothing plays

Has anyone gotten Brothers in Arms to work with DH .5, using the UMD or ISO; it runs but when I go to start a game, it freezes then reboots to 1.5. Other ISOs work fine. Just tested Madden 07. This is the first 2.81 ISO I have tried with DH .5

Brothers starts for me, but after I select story mode it pauses then dumps out to the XMB stating “The game could not be started.” I selected 2.82 in Devhook.

I’m still a little skeptical about this ..I’ve seen how so many ppl can’t run their isos and other issues with the wifi and such…I want to install to my 1.5fw but ..I also dunno how. I am running .46dh tho. Also I’m missing my USB cable but I have a card reader on my computer so I can still transfer info back n forth from my compy to my psp…will I encounter any problems if I don’t use a usb cable?

arturo,
Have you tried any 2.8x ISOs with DH .5? My older stuff works but MGS-Portable Ops and Brothers in Arms did not. MGS wouldn’t even start. BiA would start but hose out when I’d start a new game after setting up a profile.

first i went to activate HEND again, but this time, its an image file that can be viewed, so i click on it to open it up, and after that i went to click on
DEVHOOK0.51 BETA for 2.71 but it show an error code as above. At this point, i check on my system info, im still on FW1.5, can someone pls help me?

Mark,
Myself, I have a 1.5 and I use DevHook so I don’t have to flash the 1.5. For me, this works best. If I want to run emulators, I boot to 1.5. If I want to run ISOs I start DevHook and select it. I’ve found less compatibility issues than when I used 2.71 SE (This is just my opinion, so no flames please). What exactly do you need help with?

Hi Lightstorm,
really appreciate your reply, i flashed to 2.71se-c from 1.5 tbh it works a treat and im sure it will be much easier for my Son to use this way as it doesnt need to be booted to devhook it just plays games from the MS without a UMD in :) (top marks for that) what i would like to do is update to this latest dh with the 3.02 emulator to play newer games as long as its as easy to use as 2.71se-c? im not really sure what im doing and i know i should read everything here but it just doesnt sink in, so what i could do with is a step by step by someone on msn or something similar?
or go back to 1.5 ?? i dont know whats best for him for ease of use?
Mark

Well, I originally upgraded from DH .46 (FW 2.71) to DH .51 (FW 3.02) and a few of the newer 2.8x games’ ISOs (MGS: Portable Ops and Brothers in Arms) didn’t work. You’ll notice that a lot of others in this thread have non-working ISOs as well. My advice would be to wait as a newer version of DH may come out (not sure). Since I didn’t have 2.71 SE before DH .51 I can’t step you thru it (sorry for no help there–don’t want to brick yours). You may want to search “devhook .51 tutorial” or something similar on Google. There’s bound to be a forum somewhere. Sorry I couldn’t help you further.

I think I have successfully followed the instructions and was able to run my .iso files. But when I pressed the ‘Home’ key to quit the game so that I can go to the main screen to switch to a different .iso file. It’s not loading any more. UMD disc icon does not show at all. I tried hard-reset executed HEND again and launch Devhooker again. same thing. any solutions?

You get a warning screen.
and your psp will be restored.
Then you can format the mem stick again and copy the files back over for installing devhook fw 3.02 again!

“Turn your psp on”
Do this “Hold the power button for more then 3 seconds” This is a cold power down your original Firmware will be restored.
Turn the PSP back on and all is back to normal.

Then

Comment by Vegetano1

When you cold power off(3 sec power switch..)
The psp writes flash from flash00 to flash01 again.
Devhook installs onto flash01.
Get it??

Comment by Kuran
2006-12-22 12:50:56

I do get it, so, but if what you saying is true, doesnt DevHook have to write onto flash01 everytime u want to play? (do you have to do this manually like you do after installing it?

Best package out there and with best instructions. Only thing lacking for ultra noobs is the mention of adding the “ISO” folder to the root as a last step.

I know that many folks should be thanked for this and so thanks to all!!

Guys you can delete the 2 folders in PSP/Game that end in “fw_installer” after you’ve went through all of the processes mentioned in the readme. It’s mainly nice, so you don’t see that option under your menu’s anymore. Plus saves a little space.

Hi peeps, im confused. i have a a ta-082 mobo, which when i got it, had fw 3.02. i tried to install 3.02 hen, which caused a boot fail. so, i used the recovery menu, and put a 1.5 fw update in the update folder on my memory card. now i have a 1.5 firmware. this is good. now, can i install a version of devhook that emulates anything above 2.71. i got v51.0100. But in the readme, it says to make sure i dont have a t-0082 mobo. i can run everything that works upto 2.71. i dont want to edit flash 0, ive allready bricked a ta-081, so now im scared.
