PSPCAP32 v1.1.4: CPC Emulator (fix)
greg | November 25, 2006
Say what you will about ZX-81, but he does a damn good job at what he does and has contributed a significant amount to the homebrew scene; the classics never had a home on the PSP before ZX-81’s arrival.
That brings me to the latest release of PSPCAP32, the CPC emulator ported from Ulrich Doewich’s Caprice32. It emulates the CPC home computer series — supporting CPC464, CPC664, and CPC6128 models.

What’s new?
- Add “fit height” zoom mode
- Speed limiter is set to 50fps max (instead of 60fps)
- Bug fix in PNG screenshots (bad colors)
- Bug fix in sound tick menu (psp crash)

Heya ZX – continued appreciation for the CPC emulator updates. Still cannot believe that I can play my old computer on the go. I was always fond of Amsoft’s “Oh Mummy!”, “Roland in the Caves”, and a couple of other third-party releases like “Cauldron 2″, “Airwolf 2″ and the rather atmospheric “Trivial Pursuit” game, not to mention the great conversion of “Ghostbusters 2″ that was on the Amstrad. So many great games. My Mother was even very fond of “Harrier Attack”, and hasn’t played another game since that.
^Doody.
