X-Flash V16b Released

Not very long ago Art released a 2.71 SE compatible version of X-Flash with limited support. Now, today, a new version allowing further customization of your 2.71 SE PSP is available!
What’s new, you ask? These options are — all for 2.71 SE:
- Wave Effect Removed from opening intro screen as well as XMB menu.
- Debranded Coldboot intro screen.
- Debranded Gameboot movie.
- Plain Black Gameboot Movie.
The same program runs on 1.50 and 2.71 SE, and behaves accordingly after the PSP firmware version is auto detected at startup.
As stated before, and we cannot stress enough, use this software at your own risk!

They should make a pspset for 2.71 SE!!! I have a japanese psp with the x and o buttons switched and i like it the American way!!!!

You can always downgrade your PSP to 1.50 again and run PSPset, then upgrade back to 2.71 SE and it should be fine. That’s probably about the best advice I can give.

Forgot this too..
Have a look for FileAssistant-2005-08-29.rar (must be this date exactly so it will flash) and run this in GAME150. I’ve only heard of this working and never done it myself, so my post above would probably be a more safer way.
Can anyone tell me whats with the Max Gameboot size of 512k? The one i used on my 1.5 is 600k :((( is this fixable?

used it change the setting in my psp
ADAM stfu dude…thats great if you will never use x-flash again cause it changed your psp. thats what its supose to do dummy MOD stuff, now just cause you maybe didnt know wth it was doing and somehow messed up your psp isnt art’s fault. just hit return to default settings which is #15 or 16 on the menu and youll be back to the way it was. PROBLEM SOLVED.

x-flash is wonderful, i use it on my 1.5 psp, gameboot debrand fonts, i love it. just make sure u dont fuck up the files n check that ur gameboots file is right. *HO*

hey can someone tell me if the coldboot.vag works on this version cuz its not working for me.it tells me to downgrade back to 1.5 :(
I used just a normal O X changer for my psp 2.71SE and it worked a treat no problems there!
