i have used the install, but when i gonna start a game the psp get freezes, do ai have to enable something in the recovery ??

no, the 0.1.6 has some bugs that some games crash.
I installed 0.1.5 and no problem.

@7 - 0.15 works on 2.71 SE-B’ ? o_o’

@ to all asking for 2.8 downgrader, get a life, im sure they are working on it, dont like the progress? try programing your own downgrader and brick your psp multiple times.

yeh, my psp freezes wen i try to play a .Iso and I hvnt tested it with a UMD yet…but I did find out that It only Freezez while the DH folder is in existence…pls help..cuz i want some cheats lol

my freezes too, maybe we have to reboot after the install and select the pspbycnf_game.txt on recovery paste…i’m lost x/

UPdate on my Last POst: It only Freezez when the DH Folder is in the Main PSP Folder…but of course if it inst in there Then CW isnt even reading the folder Also I tested it On GTA: LCS .ISO and it Froze, I Tested it on COded Arms UMD and it did not freeze…those are the only to games ive tested so far

damnit…. I went to start a new game in Coded Arms and it Froze….so scratch my test on that one

i’ve instaled here and i noticed something, the cwcheat.prx isn’t in the kn folder. i have to put it in the folder ?? i wanna make the manual way, how do i make a reflash folder ????

Well, I fixed it guys…lol, Delet your Remaps Folder and it will work fine…I think we should try to mabey figure another way to fix the issue though

(big UMD list eh?)
im pretty sure everything will work.

Mabey, but first I need to find out a way to keep the Remaps and still have a Functional CW…for now JUst use the installer add the incldude DH folder to the main folder of your mem stick and delete the Remaps folder inside, Also if you want the FULL list of cheats for games then go to the CW website and download the database for a more up to date Database file, and just replace that with the one in the DH folder….And currently I am Working on a Portable Massive Storage Hardrive for the PSP so Ill be working a little on trying to help completely resolve this issue but the Harddrive is my main priority

My previous comment was a responce to 23…. and yes, With the Remaps deleted Everything ive tried (including .ISO, UMD) all worked

my gta lcs crashes after loading even theres no remap folder.

for people who can not install cwcheat,

just use pspFiler and copy BOTH
cwcheat.prx and pspbtcnf_game.txt from
memstick to RAMDISK first.

press start to show flash0. Turn on hacker mode.
then paste files in RAMDISK to kn folder.
and all set. this way, you don’t have to take extra steps in readme.

Zero - excellent i wouldnt mind carrying around a 100gig (or so) protable drive, all id need is a decently long usb cable and id hide it in my backpack

2x 1 gig sticks only gets you so far.

for those with problems with remaps check your config files maybe there are things which are automatically enabled which makes these games crash (burnout for example work fine here and i have the remaps folder :))
if you want i can upload my config file

it doesnt mind either i delete remaps or not.
gta lcs(US) crashes in 0.1.6.
it does not crash in 0.1.5.
no matter how many times i tried.
plz upload your setting file weltall.

omg its fixed now.
but i mess up, all my codes are gone:(
so the cheat.db isnt comatible with old one?

one more thing i forgot to mention.
I can not save searched cheats to the file.
every time I press select to save cheats,
psp crashes and turns off after 10 secs.

It also works when you delete the whole DH folder…which inst included in the Quik install…. so doing that is pointless concidering

@42, Thats correct…although it will work fine even if u dont get a new .db …I just reccomended that so you would have a FULL list of cheats for all the games

naaah, i’ve used the install, deleted the remap folder, put the cheat.prx inside the kn folder and tried to star a game, but the psp froze like aways =T

To anyone asking about 2.8x downgraders: Don’t get your hopes up, it may never happen, QUIT ASKING! I’m so sick of hearing about it! You’ll get it when they make it and no amount of complaining will get it here any faster, if it ever even comes. You have a better chance of getting ice water in hell considering how long 2.8 has been out and it hasn’t been done. Most likely a way to do it has been found and rather than alert Sony to the flaw in their firmware ‘brewers are waiting to see if it will be in the next ‘major’ release (you know, the one that’s gonna have PS3 connectivity, PS1 emulation, etc.) and you will then most likely see a downgrader and a custom firmware using that version like 2.71SE does. Think about the big picture, have some patience and quit asking about it…

My GTA:LCS UMD crashes when I try to activate any of the cheats..
possible reason I can think of is:
This is the updated GTA:LCS UMD, not the old one with the save exploit, so the cheats may not work on it.
