Everett has emailed PSP hacks with a remarkable PSP mod; not even MacGyver could pull this off –
Sony decided to make the PSP shoulder buttons transparent, leaving modders an excellent opportunity to make the device look way cooler with lighting. Llamma has done a write up on adding lights to the buttons. I wanted a similar effect, but not for the lights to be on all the time—I wanted the buttons to light when they are pushed. This is how I did it.

greg, please apologize for disgracing macgyver’s holy name by comparing him to some human. otherwise, cool mod
Wow dats cool I there someone I can pay to put the light on my PSP? all i can do is put movies that are still in the theaters into my PSP.I want a pro to put the LED lights on my I dont want to mess up my PSP.I got my PSP one day before the PSP came out.I know a few ppl that got it for me.
nice man
very nice men
that sweet but wouldnt it waste the battery quicker but its still a awesome idea
Na it wouldn’t waste the battery, why? because LEDs are being used! not some other source. You should know that already man.
i want lights
thats cool ^^
Nice:D
Good one man!
I would put these on my PSP too, but I am too afraid to open up my PSP
It would be cool if I could pay someone to do it for me. The only thing I’ve hacked by opening up are my Guitar Hero controller and a PSX controller to turn it into a metal DDR pad. And neither of those cost 250 bucks I’d be out if I messed up.
Nice but it will eat your batteries faster and also it’s not a good idea to open your PSP without reason - it’s hard to avoid dust on LCD.
Nice but ive seen this before…
Theres a tutorial on how to do this on llamma.com…
Heres the link:

They also do it for you if you pay them…
