Edison Carter has re-released CheatDevice v1.0d for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories in the form of a PRX module for use with DevHook. The good news: it works with the original US & UK/Euro versions, and is also reported to function with the new patched US version; however, the bad news: it does not work with the patched UK disc.
Adding an additional module to DevHook is quite easy, follow these instructions:
To install:
copy cheatdevice.prx X:\dh\kd
(replace X: with the drive letter of your PSP)
edit each of these files:
X:\dh\271\flash0\kd\pspbtcnf.txt
X:\dh\271\flash0\kd\pspbtcnf_game.txt(replace 271 with any other emulated firmware versions you want to use, such as 260, 250, 200)
and add the line
ms0:/dh/kd/cheatdevice.prx
after the line
ms0:/dh/kd/devhook.prx
Edison Carter also noted some features have yet to be implemented in this PRX version.

Pspupdates says that US patched works UK patched is untested so it my work.
So can 2.71 SE B users use this without DEVhook???

can this work with se - b ? also anyone have any idea when 2.71 SE-C is out? i need to know, my mate has broke his laser in the umd and i beleive SE-C is gonna have a no umd game loader :) thanks all xx

Well, thats how psp news are these days…..slow, and full of newbies asking if it works on 2.8 and stuff. Let’s just say that this is just a small workaround for anyone who bought the patched version….let them be. The other cheat topic, yea, it just so happen to be posted out of the blue. Just tell Greg or whoever post to switch around the topics.

Its a valid question to ask does it work on 2.71.
The cheat module for gamesaves only worked up to 2.60,
I dont know if this is compatable with 2.71, just get the gamesave version and load it, better yet get 2.71 SE

Do you still have to press L1 + UP to bring up the cheat menu?
From the sound of it, this application only works with the disk, not an ISO, right?
Does it work with the unpatched german version?
This works great, however the PSP hangs when exiting the GTA. Then devhook wont load anything until I remove the cheatprx and restart. Anyone else seeing this?
