PSPoste Beta 2 Released
greg | October 14, 2006
The PSPoste Team has just released Beta 2 of their stellar homebrew app, PSPoste! Just to quickly recap, PSPoste is a fully functional mail client supporting both POP3 & SMTP protocols — send, receive, and organize email all from your PSP. Beta 2 fixes many bugs discovered in the previous release:
- Fix the uids file not being written (mail duplication issue)
- Get rid of the “Bentest” icon on the main window
- Fix the hang when the app was exited through the home button during an assert comment. Although whenever such a message is encountered, it’s best to hit triangle to get out of it.
- Fix the crash on startup caused by an empty “reply to” field (any empty fields should no longer cause a crash now)
- Fix an issue where the context menu wasn’t being brought up in the address dialog

If you’re looking for more information on this project, feel free to read our previous PSPoste coverage.
Again, as requested, we will not mirror their releases here — grab ‘em from the Sourceforge project page.

Nice, cool homebrew for my pSp..
koool
Aight, i dunno what it does…
i mean do
cool, the first bugs in psposte b1 were buggin the hell outa me.
Thanks for the update!
anyway of getting it to work with gmail? I’ve tried with v1 to no avail.
does it work on 271SE??
hey good job
this is great
i can see this evolving to something super
I seem to struggle with txt input, i need to put my own email name in to set this up but i cannot find anywhere the underscore character. Any ideas anyone? CHeers
@9 – just a guess, but maybe you can just put it into a config file before putting the app on your PSP? i’ve not tried it so i’m not sure.
ha I made a 2.80 downgrader. ask i will tell you.
Is this competiable with GMail?
I put all information in the setting, but when I
select ‘check mail’ it just says ‘connecting….’ and
stay there, won’t retreive any mails.
My internet connection is working correctly.
What’s wrong ?
11# hehehe :P
hey #9
you have to press “SELECT” to switch between symbols and letters.
but can someone tell me what i put for “server1″ and all that crap?
i think this needs a tutorial
=D
#12: No, wish it was… I’m trying to use it but it doesn’t support the SSL required by Gmail. Wish this would be implemented in a later version.
At #14 – i havent used this yet as i dont have my wireless connection set up, though imagine server one would be incoming (POP perhaps) and server 2 outgoing (SMTP).
But yeah, depends what type of server your email provider uses i guess
And as i said i havent used this yet so im not 100% sure.
My 2.80 to 2.71SE-B’ Downgrader was to brick my psp and go back to EB Games with my console and get a new one. :) Worked fine!
BTW!
There is a company in Sweden who can downgrade all versions of PSPs to any oher firmware.. The do this by bricking it and unbricking it using somkind of homemade tool linked with a UP-PSP and then the unbrick your PSP to the firmware u wish.. http://www.dajton.com check it out..
Ask me for translation if you want to.. I have talked to the myselfe about this!
great!!
but this emul did’t support korean language
i want to use korean, please~~
