Does this part will be seen everytime I turn on my PSP?

HELP, I formatted my memory stick with out removing the wallpaper, and now I only get the dark yellow screen with the time and battery info. The PSP will still play UMB. Any idea’s on how to get my home screen back on my psps..

installed it, and it´s stuck at the xmb with some loading icon, freezes, plays UMD just fine, but can´t even use the XMB to at least uninstall, is there a way to fix it or remove??

Currently going to see if eloader 99 works in 2.71 via GTALCS if them using Fileassistant i might be able to delete wallpaper and input other registry files with wallpaper disabled.

be back with results, if there´s another known way, please state so, this sucks.

shit, eloader 0.99 doesn´t load on 2.71 fw via GTA, if this was possible, it could fix this bricking since it would allow us to run homebrew, and do the fix I mentioned above.

i really dont kno why i still go to this site… i really dont. all this stuff doesnt even work for me. if i find a emu. i cant finda rom. if i can finda rom the emu dosnt work. and none of the stuff work. all these things arent worth it. also so far these hacks bricked at least 40 psp’s. What a stupid cock, I figured it out, and it´s cause you need to have HENc Installed as well, what really is a bitch is that you can´t even uninstall it, I get a ¨file open error¨

yes it works on the ta-082, but this is very hard to deal with, now it wont´even load up, it freezes after the red-blue flash. can´t do shit untill I find a way to disable wallpaper or kill flash1 so the registry is null again. :(

Why are you lot even trying all this HEN C Crap for….. There’s no need, ONLY ta -082 Users and People on FW 2.80 or Above have no choice, just use the downgrader for 2.71 FW to 1.5,
as all Homebrew & ISO’s & Original UMD work now with the latest DEVHOOK, or at least wait until a version comes out that is Guaranted not to Brick your Machine!!!!

you have to make sure you do not have a disk in the drive when you yturn on the psp. or it will freeze at the blue flash screen

@22 - please understand the fact that the xmb can´t load up due to the loading of the wallpaper from flash1, and locks up, or flashes red-blue and psp never continues, i´m gonna start a thread to get some help from 0okm if possible.

@23 - I have a second psp that is a fucking TA-082 and I liked the idea of autoexecuting, but tested it on a TA-079. So my good mobo is currently fucked just a bit.

Here´s what happened, and I hope others don´t make this mistake.

if you ran the installer, It will work fine, but after you try to uninstall you get a ¨file open error¨, since you can´t uninstall, i said, fuck it, i´ll just run the real HENC from photo, and load up the downgrader, and nope, it seems that when I ran HENC folder from photo, some files got screwed along with the AutoExec files in kernel, making it so when the exploit is loaded through wallpaper, it goes into a black screen, freezes, psp turns off.

I tried tons of stuff to try to fix it my self, 1 thing that woked half way was the tiff exploited FileAssistant, as the binary was renamed to ¨h.bin¨ and put on the MS Root, it loaded up, but psp freezes on logo and powers off, eloader won´t even boot up using this method, my theory is for ppl with bricked psps like mine, need a fileassistant that can load up fine with this .tiff loader, that way we can delete the wallpaper.bmp from flash1, and load up xmb correctly, and run a downgrader, of course without HENC so we don´t screw it up, I would say the original tiff downgrader 2.71 to 1.5.

All help is appreciated, and I hope 0okm can see this and mb create a simple ¨h.bin¨ to delete wallpaper.bmp at least.

#27 I’ve got 2.71 ta - o82 mobo also. and like you i got to a point where i didn’t have a xmb. i the only difference was i had changed the wallpaper prior to rebooting. and was able to boot into xmb and then disable wallpaper then autoexec uninstall. good luck 27

this is the gayist shit ive seen it was a great idea but need alot of work u have to have you memstick with the hen c and this hack in the psp at all times if u want to use your psp this makes the psp dependant on the memstick to work without the mem stick the psp is a brick

SWEET!! 0okm released what I needed, to remove the wallpaper exploit, just like my post in #27, all we needed was the use of ¨h.bin¨ on root of memory stick to run as a program, now I downgraded back to 1.5 back to 2.71SE, i still say it´s good to use, but don´t make the mistake I did.

If you ever used HENc don´t use this, you must run this and never run the HENC photo folder ever, or get bricked like I did.

Sorry for double post but I like to state few things for ppl who like to use this.

1.- sure, install, but don´t use it if you used hec before, if you did, use the generic downgrader and reinstall the 2.71(retail) FW again, so flash0 is fresh and clean.

2.- use the folder 0okm put in photo folder called something like ¨aino… sorry forgot¨, and never use the original HENC folder.

3.- you must understand that you need this and the original HENC files on root of memory stick, don´t worry about the /PSP/photo/HENC/ folder, and don´t ever use it.

4.- enjoy, and if uninstall doesn´t work for you, at least use the generic downgrader when the exploit is loaded.

This in fact is a good work for TA-082 Users as for now, and I´m sure 2.71SE will be there for them since it´s running a 1.50 subcore, and the 2.71 core on top of it, in my theory it should be possible, yet you´ll need to downgrade your psp to 2.5 with a working downgrader and than use some sort of exploit (.tiff most probable) and to load up an installer menu, to upgrade from 2.5 or 2.6 to the awsome 2.71SE.

Help me with my psp guyz.
I have a psp 2.71 with ta-082 motherboard. I downloaded devhook.then i realized that HenC is needed to start it.. Then I downloaded 0okm’s HenC which is known as ‘Ahenci’ . It was a folder with 2 files. I clicked on the folder and the app ran. I clicked on install. the app installed. then it said to restart the psp. I restarted my psp. and then it freezed. I holded the turn off button for 30 seconds and the psp turned off. and restarted it again and the same problem was occuring.nothing works. The XMB menu is not displayed when the mem stick is in. When the mem stick is out then the mem stick is visible but the psp still freezes . Only UMD games work. when the game is being played and when i exit the game..it still freezes. I tryed to contact 0okm but i wasn’t able to.
0okm and fixed many psp with this problem and don’t know how.. he says I got to download psp wallpaper_remover.zip. he has a link on his website. I clicked on his link but an error is displayed that the filE is not found.i downloaded something called - ‘presented by Ash - psp wallpaper remover 0okm (working) (2)’ from limewire. I have a sony ericcson fone K750i . i connected it to the PC with my psps mem stick. There was a folder of my PSP my whole data was in it. PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME. AND YES UMD MOVIES DOSEN’T WORK!
