CWCheat for Mac OS X v0.4 Released

greg | October 6, 2006

Hank Chill with another fantastic release of CW Cheat for Mac OS X. If you’re new…

Simply put, CWCheat for Mac OS X is a database editor for the popular ‘Cheat Device’ for PSP, known as CWCheat created by weltall. It allows you to easily and effectively modify and manage your cheat database. With a rapidly growing cheat database, it’s very easy to get lost in it, especially when trying to find what you are looking for with a regular text editor. This is where this database front end comes in handy. You can add, remove, or modify your cheats, all at the press of a button.

CW Cheat for Mac OS X

…couldn’t have said it better myself. What’s new in v0.4?

  • CWCheat for Mac OS X is now a Universal Binary!
  • Removed the ‘Tools’ tab in favour of a Preferences window, accessable through the File menu.
  • Added a ‘Submit Cheat’ tab. This will allow you to submit your found cheats directly to the CWCheat main server.
  • Bug fixes here and there

Not to burst your bubble or anything… but personally I think way too much effort has gone into perfecting this program. If ya gotta cheat why not just download a save game? Well I guess there are some games that you cannot do to much once you finish it.. but still. Can’t you find some other project to perfect? Any how.. thanks for being thorough in your lil application by fixing all the small things… I just hope you move on to something new soon cause these cheat updates are just starting to be a little unnessisary (pardon my spelling)
I cant wait to see what you guys come out with next!!

Believe me, this project is small compared to other ones I’ve done. It’s not like I’m solving world hunger or anything, it’s just a fun little side thing.

And to cheat, I wouldn’t download the save games. That just totally defeats the purpose of having a game. What’s the point of downloading a save game with 100% right when you get a game, when it’s a lot more fun just to have, like, super jumps, and play through a game with that? IMHO, downloading other people’s saves is worthless >:D

this app rules. And Hank, I appreciate your work — now that it’s a universal binary, it runs flawless on my Macbook Pro! Keep up the good work.

This isn’t for modifying game saves. And CWCheat only works with v1.5.

I think that this is pretty cool but I’m getting tired of checking for new hacks and all I see is “mac this, mac that” I mean most people here proabably don’t even use macs

Ummm I just downloaded this and I hate to be the one to break it to all of you, he didnt set his PPC and intel flags correctly when he compiled it. It will not execute on a PPC Mac. Its Intel only flagged and you can prove it by looking at the apps get info.

Recompile it, I would love to give it a try.

Acill’s right. It’s NOT a Universal Binary.

It is a Universal Binary. I downloaded the file being hosted here and provided some video footage, showing that it’s Universal. I’m running it right here on my PPC G5:

Be sure that your Mac OS X is up to date as well. I don’t know what you’re doing wrong, but I’ve had no other reports of it not running on a PPC system.
