CW Cheat v0.1.5 Released

weltall has updated the one and only “CW Cheat” to v0.1.5 today; as per the usual a hefty changelog comes with it:
- done a lot of optimizations here and there gaining 7kb
- now you can translate CWCHEAT (note cwcheat uses the classic printf font so you won’t have chars like
etc…)
NOTE: you must put the file with your translation here: ms0:/dh/cwcheat.lng - now you can access the cheat selection menu directly from the game without opening the main menu
- button swap support added: now it’s possible to confirm with O and abort with X if enabled, or have the same configuration taken from your firmware register files (emulated firmware)
- returned to gcc 4.0.2: gcc 4.1.0 proved being higly unstable (and made prx with 2 more kb)
- now the diff search screen is cleared when searching
- fixed some games in which the button pressed while exiting from in game menu was passed to the game
- now the current value of a found address by searching is copied to the new cheat for all search type
- now you can change the address of a cheat by pressing L in the cheat modification menu
- main menu reorganized and a new config submenu
- not 4byte aligned 32bit constant write codes now works (useful for condensing, performance are affected like with not 4byte aligned 32bit multi address write)
- now you can abort search by pressing O for some times
- included french (thanks to stark), english and italian language files
- other little things
CW Cheat not only allows the ability to cheat every DevHook-emulated compatible PSP game, but you also have the power to discover and enable your own cheats. Don’t get me wrong — this process may be complicated for the average Joe [read here, great tutorial]; however, a PDF formatted manual is included, and an existing database of cheats is constantly updated and readily available for download whenever you like. Always fetch the latest cheat DB from consoleworld.org.

Anybody noticed this doesnt work with the dax mod thing for devhook I mean onli games that are daxed
i’ve went around checking about dax (which i don’t have) and it seems that it doesn’t permit to access to disc (or whatewer) also other application which reads from disc (which is a dax iso in this case) when launched.
so can you try pressing R while botting up the game till you see it’s screen?
if it does work that’s the problem

At the moment I think Cheatmaster is better then CW Cheat.
Still easier to use, and the search for adresses is much faster.

will this crash your game or corrupt your save file if you use this to a game and then saving?
no it shouldn’t since 0.1.4 before a lot of kernel space was used and some games couldn’t load the save/load prxs now that problem is resolved.
for save corruption it never happened directly by cwcheat.
it can happens also if you don’t have cwcheat installed: sometimes when the psp crashes devhook will corrupt files around the ms (i’ve got even the devhook files corrupted one time)
pls help me, i have a monster hunter freedom game under fimware emulator by devhook, how can i activate the cheats, how can i input the codes? pls help……..
codes are to be put inside the database with a text editor supporting unix (if you are editing an already made db, if your doing your own you can use also win or mac encoding) press select select cheats enable the codes and then enable cheats and read the manual also if the menu has changed a bit it had only things moved around
cw cheat will not lrt me install on my psp I play online so it automatically updates mine is 2.81 and the program is ment for 1.5 so it says data is currupt is there another way to install so I can change the program firmware to 2.81 so it will work
