Yeah probably, but it's hard to believe and I don't think anyone is willing to test out his method.. it's just too.. unbelievable and no one is willing to risk it for something that is so uncertain. People may just end up bricking their 2.8/2.81 instead..

@papahead: im not sure what problem you're experiencing, just keep trying and tell me if it happens repeatedly. =X

you know i honestly think @Techno mite be on to somthing. who can really say if hes telling the truth, maybe he did make it up, but i must admit, there is a ring of truth to his story, and in theory, it mite actually work. it sounds very similar to formating a hard drive and re-installing an OS from special cds that boot and install through the BIOS.

but thats beside the point. why dont we think of it this way, if he can prove his method sucessful then all of the people with "un-downgradable" firmware will finally have a way out. and even if he is BS'n he sure has given all the 2.80/2.81 people somthing to ponder so they can pass the time :)

thanks @Techno

@zephyrus: I have repeatedly tried putting henc on my psp. my screen goes blue, then green, then it turns off, but never reboots itself. i have to manually turn it back on. Am i supposed to or should it restart itself? I go into devhook, but i never get to the configuration screen. Do you know what i am doing wrong?
