YES ALL GOOD BUT when i try to run it (TIFF) on my 2.60 it crashes and i have to reboot my psp but it works fine on the gta lcs exploit

i used the windows installer so none of the file’s are in the wrong places

This is no “breakthrough.” For the past 2 weeks the only updates that have came out have been stupid ass TIFF exploits. And even so, all you hear is cunts saying, “Dude I’d prefer a downgrader, but this is cool!” or, “This is neat but when is a downgrader coming out?” If you want one that bad, make one yourself. If I was stupid enough to upgrade my PSP to a 2.8 (Because Sony has never pulled this stunt before) I’d keep my mouth shut. What good has updating EVER done?

i got it to run. nesterj and cps1 emulators work. cps2 emulator crashes my psp.

Wont Work anymore for me.. worked for like first 30 min but all i could get was failed something.. but i saw the menu for the loader..

now when i got to the folder with the files in photo it just freezes.. also ive got a 2.7 and TA082

but i downgraded my psp from 2.0 to 1.5 25 minutes after i opened it up for christmas last year…

a real breakthrough would being able to wiri a hitachi micro drive into the psp, possile place it where the umds go and havea bigger harddrive

or maybe a flash player that works well.

i could possibly accomplish the hdd part but my coding skills are limited to html/java/perl and Visual Basic…..

booster the guy who released devhook first came out with Fastloader, and the key feature in that that set it apart from umd_emulator was that it did not require a umd to be in the drive.. i wonder why it requires one now?

if someone could answer that then that would be great..

i have 2.71, no mod chip, when i try to run the picture, the psp freezes, what should i do?

I’m using fw2.6 on a TA082 and it works for me (well the one time I tested it). FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS; set a custom pic as background, and then run the loader after completely shutting down the system. For those of us with TA082s, the motherboard gets all funky and helps to limit homebrewyness; the GTA exploit only worked 1/3 of the time for me, and I could only run a single homebrew.

I go to TGS06 tomorrow, I will probably download demos if they have them but I hope to god I don’t have to update.

@ #36, it’s because he’s emulating real firmware. so if you wanted to use devhook with no UMD’s you would need to edit the part of the firmware that makes this check so it thinks there is one there

yah more kernel suport for this would be awesome and i noticed on both emus i used daedulus and gpsp say they have no access to the coprocessor would it be possible to allow it to or would u need full kenrel acces for it to access the coprocessor?

This works fine for me on my 2.60FW. Im happy I dont have to use GTA anymore to do this. A big thanks to the guys who made this :)

Really, I hadn’t tried daedalus yet so I didn’t know of the error. I currently am running NesterJ, SNES9XTYL, PSP Revolution, PSP pool and font hack perfectly fine through this eloader on my 2.6. But will start to try other programs soon.

Just mailed Fanjita about the Downgrader, his autoreply (hes too busy hacking the PSP) said that, no, he was not actively working on a 2.80 dg. there, just my two cents
