Just installed this to mess around with a new char on Monster Hunter Freedom. I can't modify the hex values at all to change the item box slot 1 code. =/ R-trigger makes me hop up and down between HEX and DEC rows. L/R on the D-Pad just moves the little [] box around. U/D on the D-Pad does absolutely nothing. I had the 1.3.8 version previously but I copy and pasted the 1.4.0 version directly over it then ran the installer. Any ideas why I can't change the hex value?

I agree with the guys above. If you were a big enough dumbass to upgrade, you don't deserve shit. You should of just waited so we don't have to put up with your constant annoying remarks and comments about "PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE A DOWNGRADER" NO. Okay? I also agree when he said he hopes no such thing comes out. I think coders should focus on 1.5 users, and not spend time attempting to downgrade 2.8 PSP's because idiots decided they wanted Sony's awesome protection against malicious software. Could you imagine the awesome shit we could have if the coders spent time making homebrew for 1.5's instead of making.. what.. f'in TIFF exploits? Nice. Don't get me wrong, all homebrew coders are awesome, it's just 2.8 people saying "I upgraded by mistake but now I want to downgrade," is like someone saying, "If I would of known this team I switched too was going to lose, I would of stayed back on my old winning team." Tough shit, your choice.

wait wait i hope you aren't still using the install option to update cwcheat.
it's required to use the restore function (there is also writted update, i hope...)
using the installer function of the installer installs two cwcheat and how the memory is managed you get out of memory so be carefull with it.
it's fine tuned to work as single but not as a double prx :P

to fix it just go in your pspbtcnf_x.txt file of the firmware and remove the double references

Man alot of anger out there but anyway for those of you having trouble loading your ISOs just a tip that worked for me. Make sure that you uninstall the previous version of wc cheat before installing the new. Other wise all your ISOs will just sit and lag at the intro. After uninstalling then reinstalling it seems to work just fine with mine and dev .4xx
