TIFF FileAssistant v0.06
greg | September 18, 2006
Update: Booyaka — TIFF FileAssistant v0.06, now with UMD support and a working battery meter! v0.06 also includes some dialog cleanup. Again, well done FreePlay.
FreePlay has again ported another useful homebrew application to the libTIFF platform — FileAssistant! Due to certain limitations v0.05 is considered “stripped-down.” The battery level indicator has been removed, as well as UMD support; however, the other functionality continues to work just fine — moving, copying, renaming, and deleting files/folders on your memory stick and flash1. Read access to flash0 also remains intact.
Usage details (controls/commands) can be found in Readme.txt; great work FreePlay!

For those with FW 1.50, you can check out the original FileAssistant here.

how downgrade my PSP v2.8 to 1.5?????
Jjvaz, that’s funny I think this topic reads, “TIFF FileAssistant,” not “2.80 downgrader.”
#8 u are retarded….it says file assistant
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxqHZ2VMrek
is this compatible with 2.8?
i try this in my 2.8 and doesnt work…. maybe im doing something wrong…. is this 2.8 compatible?
Sweet you can access psp flash0, doesn’t this mean we should make a downgrader?
Yes its 2.8 compatable – any TIFF file is compatable with 2.8
No.
if you look carefully and try to delete something you will see that you cannot Write to the flash, which means no writing a firmware dump. and even if you did manage it somehow. you’d probably brick it.
so no, no downgrader with fileassistant.
actually #15 not all tiff exploits are compatible.
only the libtiff exploits on 2.80.
(Snake 2.80, Tiff tron, tiff tetris 0.2, e.t.c)
only tiffs marked with 2.80 in the download section.
