PSP Sudoku v1.0

Posted by greg

You’ve probably witnessed people playing this everywhere - on the subway, the street, coffee shops, etc… It’s the world’s latest mind-exercising craze - the Sudoku puzzle. And now, thanks to HPNuts, it’s available on the PSP! PSPSudoku is written in the LUA scripting language; however, HPNuts has taken the liberty to provide standalone EBOOT’s so the LUA player is not required.

Sudoku is conceptually easy but will certainly get your mind in motion. The object: fill each box and horizontal/vertical line with the numbers 1-9. These numbers can not appear twice in the same box or line. You’ll see what I mean…

Great work HPNuts, I’m an addict!

Considering how small it is, it’s pretty good.
I think it makes it too easy though, when there’s no way to make a mistake, and it will only cycle through the numbers that could actually belong in that square.

    Other than that, nice work!

I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s never played before, to help them learn.

What’s the point in this? They have a psp game out of Sudoku.

I like how you can tell Mark said, “Cool.” just so he can be the first one, and once he was, he proceeded to actually comment. But about this homebrew, it is a good game if you’re bored.

:/ The point is WE DON’T HAVE TO BUY IT. That’s reason enough for most people, buy go buy the game if you feel so compelled to.

Wait, damn. What happened to the post “Does this work on 2.80″ that I was responding to? It was there a about 10 seconds ago.

    That was quick, Greg. lol

Hi, my release is set in French but you can easly change the language in the main menu.
Also if you want to remove all help from the software, you can turn off possibilities in the main menu.
For hard and greater levels, some help with the possibilities for each cells written are really welcomed believe me…

At less than one meg this is a great addition to anyones games. The smallest I have seen “Carol Vordermans Soduko” is 12Meg — so this is a great achievement. Well done HNuts!

First off, I love it! with that said, I’ve noticed the game locks up quite frequently, particulary when hints are being shown, but no button is being pressed. Thats not the only time though, and it happens so randomly that it’s hard to give you much feedback as to what is causing it. I wish I could be more helpful. I just end up saving alot on a long puzzle just so I don’t have to repeat a bunch of steps.

I don’t even know how to play this.

I load it up, and it brings up a menu, and I don’t know where to go from there.

I tried logging in to the chat for help, but it
said that I had been banned for “no reason”.

    What the heck?
