PSPHost v1.5
greg | August 18, 2006
Update: Quick bug fix update…
Version 1.5
* Setup program wouldn’t allow successfull installs to anywhere other than the default directory. This is fixed in this release.
Download link below has been updated to v1.5.
danny_kay1710 has yet again released a new version of PSPHost.
Huh, PSPHost - what’s that? Well you may recollect after I tell you PSPHost is the new name for danny_kay1710’s previously released PSPLink. This is merely to avoid confusion with TyRaNiD’s PSPLink app.
So… here I present to you, PSPHost v1.4!
v1.4 changelog:
- Application renamed to PSPHost (I apologise for using the name PSPLink, I only realised after release)
- PimpStreamer 0.7 support added!
- USBHOSTFS and NETHOSTFS ran twice when set to run at startup. Whilst this didn’t cause any problems concerning viewing files over these hosts, it did consume more system memory than needed.

Nice work Daniel!

Does this work with DevHook?
yes, it works with iR Shell and DevHook (ISOs can only be played via USBhostFS of course).

i also use devhook mod but that dont work it dont find the games on the computer can any one help me pleade
I can’t seem to figure out how to connect to the hard drive virtual memory stick. Is there software that needs to be installed on the PSP as well as on the PC? Are there instructions for getting this application to work published somewhere?
can i downgrade my psp with this ? xD
Are you Suuure this works with DevHook?
for real can i downgrade my 2.8 psp.
well……its so sad that since the beginning of this ive never been able to use the usb host function since i have no wifi host……..not it says you can use this with devhook !!! But how ? I wanna know !!
to all of those unable to use this with devhook, make sure you have the included driver installed (psp b or whatever). you may already have a driver installed, but to usb link you need to use this second driver… good luck.

and #21, having a wifi host or not does not have any effect on your usb hosting capabilities, at all.

Install UI for devhook, this will also give you usb support. goto “my documents” after install and there should be a program named PSP open this and inside should be the usbhostfs prog, also create ISO folder inside here.
open up the dev hook mod pack (requires second install from UI installing the mod pack) then goto other, choose usb and enable it, choose relevent firmware and then open up usbhost on ur pc, all while the usb is connectied, you should get asign sayin its connect, then goto load umd and select, “anyumd” then goto select umd and it should display all the games on your memory card + ISO folder you created on your computer, hope this helps, any questions email me KBenriassa@hotmail.com
