The funny thing is that even though people flame the mac is that the mac now can run windows. Now a lot of you already know that but here is an interesting fact. Macs have been shown to run Half-Life 2 episode 1 at a higher frame rate then a top of the line PC running it and this is under the OS Windos on both machines. So you know what people stop flaming macs and stop buying microsoft shit in a box.

Random (lol), thats not true, considering you can run HL2 just fine under linux, i say screw the fanboy antics on all sides of the camp, none are perfect, each have their pros and cons, and until one becomes perfect I will use an assortment of all three thank you very much.

And if it weren’t for Macs, Halo wouldn’t exist…and a GUI in windows probably would have come later than it did.

I’m just glad to see some utlilities available for the Mac. Here’s hoping for even more in the future.

Macs are just bad

This would intresst me so muvh if i was one of you apple “diciples” who owned a scrap heep called Mac.

Mac is good because of the OS not the box.

It is like a car that runs on olive oil (OS X), compared to a petrol (Windows). Then people noticed the car was sexy and wanted one, but all the garages offer petrol. So the car was altered to run INFERIOR petrol and all the fools bought one.

It is not progress.

I use XP for composing/gaming and hardcore render procesess. I use OSX for presentation/recording/post processing because XP sucks at multitasking. Both have advantages that I am dependent on.

But I say OSX is more intelligent designed and funnier to operate.

I own both, and i must say mac osx blows the shit out of windows. i use my pc for getting viruses and having programs crash, and my mac for everything else.

Does anyone know where i can get other Mac app for the psp

I think a lot of people that flame the Mac havent even used one exect in a school enviroment which is where they are crappy because the school sets them up to not let you do anything. So if you are going to flame a Mac at least use it first and use it properly.

I used macs extensively in school and I must say that while I have nothing against the OS, I hate the one-button mouse and it can just be too hard to find software. Oh, and iMovie is NOT to be used on iBook G3s and G4s… my history class learned that the hard way.

Overall, macs have good presentation, and rather than just run windows, they should have just let the normal mac OS run windows applications.

I just think it’s funny how those shitty Mac Vs. PC commercials sport their ad. When the “Mac” guy says, “I’m into doing fun stuff like listening to music, and watching movies.” and the “PC” guy says, “I’m into doing fun stuff too like graphs and pie-charts.” Like that is the only thing you can do on a PC, and not watch movies and play music? I forgot it was impossible.

Anyway this isn’t really saying which is better, I just hate that commercial.

Awesome! Macs are awesome! Windows is one big old drunk man with millions of viruses! Macs are in shape geniouses that are as healthy as can be!

I think I’m going to start programming viruses for mac lol…. then all of the mac lovers could stfu about their invincible systems. I can’t get in trouble for saying that, can I? lolol.

@thevictor390 …you know that if mac OS X was able to run windows applications out of the box or through support of Mac that the OS X would be more prone to viruses that PCs get infected with.

@Dago^WATT: Good job on this, I don’t have a Mac, my girlfriend does, but she doesn’t have a PSP lol. This just makes life that much easier for people who do have both.

And anyway, you can’t compare Mac and PC really, because there are hundreds of pc companies, and only one Mac company, you’d have to compare mac to dell, mac to compaq/hp, mac to gateway/eMachine, what everyone’s really fighting about is OS X vs. Windows. And neither side is going to win, because you can’t really fight a war with armies consisting of 12 year-olds, college dropouts, 45 year-old comic book addicts living in their mother’s basement surviving only on macaroni and cheese (the box, too), and sucky garage bands who accredit their *okay* sound to the superiority of their Mac. No bias on the last one, I actually know a band who sucks really bad but they think they’re cool because their drummer has a mac lol.

Yes, those mac commercials trying to “stick it” to the pc world are completely stupid and don’t present fact, so if you’re not computer-savvy, don’t listen to those commercials at all, and don’t let the fan boys sway you either way. take a computer class first if you’re still in high school and learn the facts for yourself.

Seems to have turned into a OS X verses XP comments list (and if nobody seriously knows the real anwer then shame on you!)

This is a great app and saves much time doing it over Virtual PC, but something us Mac folk need is a tool to rebuild an ISO. Something like VcdRomX or UMD Gen.

lol I honestly think we all can shut the hell up. We always forget to think about the third-world countries where even having a working toilet is considered such a luxury as we would see a big screen tv or an alienware hardware profile lol. And why do we always, for the most part, leave linux out of these arguments? The penguin wants his voice heard, too!

cheers!!! finaly some apps for mac!!! i used to use windows only and then got a mac after years of windows only!!!! i always said i could never get rid of my windows machenes (how stupid i was) mac do beat the crap out of windows!!!! and all these “i hate 1 button mouse people” BUY A NORNAL MOUSE THEN!!!! they do work!!!!!!! i have a nornal optical 2 button + wheel mouse on my mac and the second button and wheel both work!!!! so if the only reason u hate mac is the mice BUY A NEW MOUSE!!!! i still use windows for the odd job like conveting video files to dvd but mac is the best for multi tasking and anY kind of design work!!! (windows just crashes and laggs to the max when doing any sort of design work beyond 3 layers in photoshop!!!!!!

anyway back to the suject!!!! been able to create DAx from my backup games on mac is greatr!!! (never heard of this app till today!!!! YAY
