DevHook Reconfigure Released!
Tayaki | August 3, 2006
This little tool was created by BOOSTER and tweaked by RekleSS.
This allows switching between ISO/CSO and UMD while in emulated firmware.
Please Note!: You can only execute this EBOOT while in DevHook emulated firmware or a system update or an error occurs if you try and boot this in FW 1.50.
This is the normal DevHook launcher modified to run under 2.71. It was written for DevHook 0.46. It may work with later versions; that’s up to Booster, not me. It allows you to reconfigure devhook while it’s running, without using the hot keys. There’s no real reason for it – “I needed to do something else with the source and ended up doing this as well.”
If you wish to build the source, place it under the SDK directory, at the same level as the original launcher source. Otherwise it won’t be able to find everything it needs.

1st xd but what does it mean!
what does this do
This post is a little confusing. So it adds the ability to swtich from UMD to ISO Emulation from the emulated XMB?
I see you are all asking in regards to this program “what does it do” well, it enables the PSP user to switch between ISO/CSO & UMD whilst emulated in a firmware version using DevHook. Consider it a little add on.
ok i am still lost
lol, im sure you’ll figure it out once youv’e installed it, that is if you install it :/
it says in Read Me : “Place the EBOOT under PSP\GAME\Reconfigure Devhook, it functions perfectly and the Return to 1.50 Mod still functions perfectly while in the Dev Hook Emulated 2.71 XMB.”
But I couldn’t install it. I tried to put eboot.pbp under folder names like : reconfigure, or reconfiguredevhook, or reconfigure devhook, or recınfigure_devhook
???
How to install it????
“Place the EBOOT under PSP\GAME\Reconfigure Devhook” and now??? I´ve try to start it while emulating 2.71, but you can´t open the Hombrew.
Ok here are my instructions on how to install..
Place the “src” folder in the main root of your memory stick, like where all the folders like “psp” and “mp_root” are..
Now do the following:
PSP > GAME > Create a new folder called “RECONFIGURE DEVHOOK” without quotation marks, now enter the RECONFIGURE DEVHOOK folder and place the EBOOT.pbp file in there, fire your psp up and give it a go.. That’s how i installed it on my system and it works.. :S
Hope that lil tutorial helps =]
I tried to get it to work with 2.7. If it works with 2.71 it should work with 2.7 cuz they are similar. Im confused lol.
everytime i go to boot it in emulated 2.71 it doesn’t work and just shows a corrupt icon. i tried using the PBP unpacker to unpack it and see what the files were and that just says that it is an invalid file. Could it have been packed wrong? And I have tried your installing method Errorised, but that didn’t work either.
Followed the above instructions here also and it’s a no go. No way No how. Maybe i missed something on the lines of. src on root make folder place file inside folder. still, No way No how this things boots. This would be a great addition to the homebrew scene. Able to change ISO’s, CSO’s with out rebooting would be cool.
is this realy that usefull
if people have problem installing it and what the hell does it do anyway??
this thing and the other dev hook mod thing is not in psp updates i guess the two dev hook mod that came out today are crap
and could we please have a dev hook .47 with 2.8 frimware with the browser working b4 sony kills it!!
ace, get your own nickname.
Back on topic:
I still use v0.45. What is the file in v0.46 that enables this driver? The eboot itself or one of the prx’s?
So anyone else know how to install this thing?
YOU HAVE TO COMPILE THE PBP YOURSELF, THATS WHY THE SOURCE IS INCLUDED WITH THE NECCESSARY FILES!
Kinda stupid to release something like that though.. :/
What? you have to compile this? hahah ok.
@ Ace with the 0.45 dev. There’s a Reboot selecter for .46 dev have you used it on 0.45 dev? Been using this thing that i got off a torrent. uses the 0.45 and USB hook, called Extreme Link. Was wondering if you maybe have gotten that reboot to 1.5 to work on 0.45 dev? and if so how?
This tool is going to be useful for me (but I couldnt install it).
For those who asks what it is for: when you boot devhook, you choose to boot UMD or your ISO games. if you select ISO, you can not switch to your UMD again (you can only switch between ISOs). you have to switch from 2.71 to 1.5 and open devhook again to select UMD.
This update will allow you to open devhook in 2.71, so that you can change the devhook configuration and select UMD.
And most of you know that when you select UMD, you can watch or play UMDs for 2.0 firmware or above.

The reconfigure.zip file on there works a treat, the version from here doesn’t work at all.
install a custom firmware and get your problems solved :)
THIS UN-BRICKED MY PSP!
Seriously no joke I had a brick now I have a semi functioning psp! It was a total brick, now I have a 1.5 ALWAYS running devhook 2.71 and I can play all my backed up umds in ISO format!!!
I know it’s not what it’s for but wtf? IT DID IT!!!
oh shit not the version here the on on maxconsole
