If you think there is an Xbox emu then you must be joking, The Gameboy Advance is not even fully functional yet on the PSP, what on earth makes you think that there will be an Xbox Emu! Please, do not be stupid and ask silly questions like this! – phil

maybe he means a clone/sim of halo made with the engine, so its optimized for the psp?

A jet set radio clone would be good.

Could be possible, Would take too long and plus would have to be VERY small maps because the Engine cannot handle maps bigger then 3 meg in size – Phil

hmmm, having trouble installing this!

if you go search youtube.com for halo portable this guy has it on his psp as homebrew but i cant find any web site that has it for download. and if it takes too long just think of how long it took for the 2.60 GTA homebrew or the 2.5/2.6 downgrade.

lol… crytek has to be the easiest engine to mod… ever i made a car for that game… i downloaded this and spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to get the demos to run i give up :/

and it is takeing along time for the gba emu. but just think if there was a xbox emu there might be a wifi thing insted of frikin buying xbox live that would be awsome

a sim of halo wouldnt be bad and just make a map look like the original and maby scice you can have xbox saves on psp maby make them into psp format and have it for the game or sumthin

i saw that youtube thing that told us about, it says in the description that it’s an Iris Mod, and is just a proof of concept.

so what does proof of concept mean. that it does exist and this site has a iris download do you think its the same thing

I cant open the file. when I click on it, it goes to the “open with” program so I have to choose what I want to open the file with.

Thanks, But its true, An Xbox Emu would be a little hard to use on the PSP because there is not enough buttons on the PSP, Plus, The graphics would lag out of control, I would not like to be the person trying to develop this software! – Phil

(works for PSP & PS2 as well as OG XBOX, need to mod your router [wrt54g v1-v4 & someothers] for the PSP to work)

Just reading the kai site, & I see with this new version (& some older ones) if you have a wifi card in your comp you can set it up to connect to that.
Obviously our comp CAN NOT connect to your network & your PSP @ the same time, so a wireed connection for the pc or an aditional wifi adapter would be needed.

Ok, im a reasonable guy, I gather your a newbie to this subject, Any update higher then 2.60 will not be able to run homebrew applications, Plus, since where can you download a GPS-360 on the internet? new info on youtube type in xbox emulator go down till you get to the ninth clip and it says that the guy baought a xbox 360 emulator and his swedish uncle converted it for psp

proof of concept meens it’s a concept that has been been proven to work, Iris has been released, hell a star wars mod has also been released for it, but the halo version has not, still being worked on…….

Ppl, this is wierd, how do u install this, i’ve read through the readme too many times……

The SDK is not used on the PSP, You need to use C++ Programming language on PC, Then convert the data to PSP, A little hard for some people, But its mainly posted here for people who know what they are doing, try buying a neat program called ” Microsoft Visual Studio 6 ” its perfect for this situation! – Phil
