DevHook Reboot to 1.50 Plugin
greg | August 1, 2006
Tired of switching on/off your PSP to return to 1.50 while in the DevHook-emulated 2.71 XMB? Well now that’s a thing of the past; logicbomb.de has discovered a plugin released by Saturne_1606 which functions in a similar manner as jas0nuk’s return to 1.50 vshex mod. Simply put, this allows easy return to 1.50 by holding the “Home” + “Start” buttons. Very handy indeed!
Extract the contents of this archive to the root (ms:/) of your memory stick overwriting the existing vshex.prx file. That’s it, that’s all!
Download: Reboot to 1.50 XMB DevHook Plugin
Enjoy!

finally, that hard reset is so annoying…
interesting
don’t mind the hard reset, nice app tho
well the good thing about this app is if you have ISO’s, You can load them up on a 1.5 then and use your iRShell to play music in them :)
Sorry for my above message as that is not the case…
…You cannot load up your ISO’s on the 1.5 after all as I just checked using the LocoRoco ISO Demo (I dont own ISO’s of games I do not own btw) Bad news but still a handy little app like PSPHIX says :D
it works on a TA-082 or it bricks also??’….
didnt the new devhook come pre-installed with something like this or did i fuck something up and get a app that does it from thin air?
@godsfilth
Yea it came with an app you put ito your psp/game folder, and it reboots back to 1.5
idk wats the difference between this and the prepackaged one though. I’m sticking to the one that came with it.
Cos with the one prebuilt in to Devhook you have to press about 4 buttons. But what the hell. It’s so easy to hold the power button for 3 secs anyway. Still good work on this mod. I couldn’t do it ;)
This fucking app is useless the ultimate installer of devhook came with a program that boots back to 1.5. FUCK YOU Saturne
how does it work vshex.prx
it did not do any thing.
When in DevHook 0.46 press and hold home and start to boot back to FW 1.50. A convenient plugin, if not nessecery.
Oh, and btw, works like a charm, shaved 2 seconds off of having to hard reboot it.
they forgot to mention that you gada put the lan switch back to 1.5 mode too…
@WiCHO
This isn’t a downgrader so NO it wont work on TA-082. This is a mod for DevHook users to reboot back to 1.5!!
@everybody else
Uhm so the option “return Devhook to stock” in the ultimate installer does the same as this mod?
All this time I thought it was just to clear the backgrounds and additional options.
with the new devhook just go to the game option if your emulating 2.71 and choose return to 1.5 works just fine for me dont think you need this
Ok, it works with 2.71 emulation but with it installed it wont let you boot your 2.60 emulation, It’ll let you boot 2.5 though. So It’s pretty good if you only emulate 2.71 .
Yea the Ultimate installer is suppost to do this too but I couldn’t get the damn thing to work (maybe some of you guys where luckier?). Without this installed and just the ultimate installer installed, It’ll reboot when you use “Return to 1.5 from 2.xx” your memory stick while emulating 2.6 or 2.71 (So that way it’ll boot 2.6 and It still works for both). So thank you for this guys but I dont need it.
is devhook 0.46 an upgrade to 2.71
if so do need to upgrade to 2.71
will you stil have homebrew
The DevHook 0.46 already have a homebrew to do that !
I an other devhook with more folder with dh
you can have a 2.71 to a 1.5 for homebrew in 2 sec
A question regarding DevHook flashing:
The reboot does not seem much faster than before, but I think the games lag a little less, but I am not shure… anyone?
