Ric and FOL have updated their PSP Ubiquitous Amiga 500 Emulator (PSPUAE) slightly. v0.53 includes a new Drive Speed option which helps significantly with long loading games; not all - but a lot.

You require a valid Amiga KickStart ROM which can be found via simple Google search!
Take a peak at the included README.txt for installation instructions, usage details, and key controls.

You guys have never heard of this SYSTEM because it isn’t a console, It’s a type of computer. AMIGA uses disk images and stuff. BTW, I totally think this kicks ass, because it’s got a lot of the games that came out for DOS PCs, and it emulates them decently. It’s almost like having a working version of (now probably defunct, as I haven’t seen ANY updates) DOSBox for PSP :D Keep up the great work!

Btw, this site and also DCEmu has covered every release of PSPUAE that I know of, this is not the first time.
Yeah the amiga in the UK was infact a very popular computer in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was one of the best, OK people talked about the Atari St was better, but the Amiga was much more adavnced than the Atari ST, it had better graphics and I also prefer the sound to the amiga becasue it was the first home computer that used real sampled sounds for everything. The Atari ST could only produce FM sound synesis.
Also programming group Team17 (who was first a homebrew PD team Protracker) before the worms game and the people who wrote the game Lemmings first came to the amiga. IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE AMIGA PD DEMOSCENE SOME OF OUR GAMES MANUFACTURES LIKE TEAM17 WOULD NOT EXIST TODAY. THATS WHY WE NEED TO KEEP OUR PSP HOMEBREW SCENE GOING!!!!
Sorry Protracker is a name of a homebrew sound and music editor for the Amiga and this was written by team17
When the Amiga computer first came out in 1985 it had 4096 (near photo quality) graphics, stereo sound, speech, and produced games of arcade quality (at the time). To put it in perspective in 1985 PCs still had green screens and the sound was only “beep”. Even the Mac was only black and white at that time!
It in fact was so advanced for it’s time - when it debuted at the electronic show , people couldn’t believe it was real!
Years later the Video Toaster program was made for the Amiga and it produced the special effect for Babylon 5, Star Trek NG, and Robocop!
