He’s done it again!
whoa! guys been busy….
damn
YEAAA BOYYEE, KEEP IT UP
2.8 emu just around the corner? let’s keep our fingers crossed.
All these updates tis exciting
u do need the 1.5 reboot in the dh/kd fokder for the return to 1.5 program
reboot.bin
how do u intaill this devhook version i can only get dev hook 0.44 instilled and i tried devhook 0.45 but i still can’t emulate the homebrew future can and one post up instruction or can any one help me out pls? thx in advance
maaan! holi shit… first blood.. ownage, sony just got pawned… godlike!
sweet! so no more resarting ur psp to get back to 1.5?
Has anybody got this to work… my Garantee is way over expired… so i’m scared of bricking it… i just want to hear some good feedback that’s all.
the 2.8 firmware will probly have a built in “timebomb” type of bricking device. sony would have totally gotten smart.
so flashing devhook no longer requires you to have info on memory stick only iso ? just curious has anyone done so and will they right tut on it . still have 44 works great sure 46 is better but happy with what i have but interested in the flash option thanks .
good question, what is the main fix for this new installment?
Running of Flash is the main fix, and 333MHz sum people say.
Awesome. Flashing to the PSP NAND is an option thats of interest. But I’ll stick to loading the firmware 2.80 from my stick. Kudos.
But I’ll stick to loading the firmware 2.80 from my stick. Kudos.
^BULLSHIT^
i dont see the point of this release…i have no idea about the flash thing..when i first saw this i thought it was 2.80 emulated…but i hope he duz it soon..good work
@None/Or anyone having problems installing
On the homepage you will see a headline titled “Firmware 2.80 Dumped!”. Scroll down a bit and download the 2.80 eboot, PBP Unpacker, and the Dev Hook 2.80 Installer. Install PBP Unpacker (installation if for Windows). Using Winrar, extract firmware 2.80 from it’s compressed form. Then, using PBP Unpacker, extract the file DATA.PSAR into the Ms0:\ (the memory sticks root directory). Create a folder labeled “280″ under/in the folder labeled “dh” which is located it the root. Now extract the Dev Hook 2.80 Installer into Ms0:\PSP\GAME. Disconnect from USB mode. Now run the Dev Hook firmware installer in the PSP’s XMB. Now enjoy 2.80 emulation.
Well, this is an improvement as I’m not having corruption issues on the memory stick but iso loading is certainly having new issues. I’m about to download .42 or .43 and stick with that until all the issues are for certain fixed.
Slasher, why is it that you find my statement to be “BULLSHIT”? Please explain?
I just don’t enjoy tinkering with my fw1.50 system files.
Ace, I think your whole logic is BULLSHIT. Who do you think you are not wanting to flash? Don’t be gay man… This isn’t the 90’s anymore. If you want to give that attitude here, be prepared to back it up..
Nuff Said….
ok WHAT THE FUCK does this do??? i have no idea what writing to flash does? so what now we get 333mghz emulation now and what use is writing to flash? like WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS VER DO?!?!??
Slasher, dude, I’m confused, lol. What attitude am I giving, lmao…You’re being satirical. I’m cynic of you now. Dumb fucking kid.
Does this mean that you can now install Devhook to your PSP, and there is no need to have the files on your memory stick?
@ iann1965
Yep.
i tested this
333mhz is working
flash sites is working
wma is working
but internet my connection gets stuck at obtaning ip adreess ive tried ity on 333mhz also just seems worse dosent work!!!
any one got any clue whats wrong??
flash memory is where the normal firmware is stored. until now emulated firmwares were stores on memory sticks.
stop hatin on ace
he’s helping people understand how he does what he does
his attitude is selflessness if anything
For Everyone who does not know what this does, or writing to the flash meens, don’t fucking write DevHook to the flash memory (it’s like directly adding a Mac emulator to ur Windows system)!
I do not recommend this until it has been proven safe to use (and yes i meen as safe as the 2.00->1.50 downgrader).
I’ve read all the readable readme’s, none of them say anything about it also writing the dumped firmwares to the flashmemory, so u must leave them on there, it only writes the app to the flash, so u can run it a little faster.
@ace:
I read what u wrote about how to get 2.80 emulation early……..u sir a little off on that, considering the fact that the “reboot.bin” has not been decrypted yet. So it cannot run. Nor can it run with anyother reboot.bin
Yeah, my mistake. Could you explain what exactly is the reboot.bin and what is it’s exact function?
Are you also implying that this dev hook release is therefore unfunctional?
what is all this shit about firmware timebombs, is it confirmed such a thing?
This release only supports up to 2.71 firmware emulation if wanting to run from memory stick. Damn.
then why not make an instant bomb bricking your device at once?
Well, I just written to the flash using the devhook flash writer (it’s within the devhook main eboot, not exactly a good idea). My psp works fine. I’m not sure whether it’s actually doing anything or not.
I’d say it’s safe. :\
Ok, just tested it out, it does seem to be going a bit faster.
I hope an eboot is released where I can run emulate 2.80 off of my stick.
believe me devhook was simple use a dumped firmware and yipeeki yay there ya go but now theres all this techno crap and its confuuuusing! lets have it simple 2.80 eboot yay no flashing blah blah blah wtever
So how is this working for everybody?
I know that writing to the flash is unsafe…I’ll wait till they releaase the ultamate installer with 2.80 So anyway yeah… Tell me what you guys think of this version
i can nothing do with it still needs the umd drive..
ive just read through 88 pages of news, and back then what was we waiting for? homebrew and devhook?
Now what are we waiting for? N64 PSX emulators?
And devhook updates :P
yes and no reading umd drive for all iso,s
80 euro,s for a new umd drive !!! better a good release with no umd drive reading please devs help us!!
Off Topic
I’ve been keeping up with StrmnNrmn’s Daedalus N64 emulator. It’s getting better and better. R7 will be an awesome release. Not complete, but it’ll be something worthwhile.
my devhook randomly stopped working, now when i boot up 2.71 it gives me the blue screen that says data is corrupted in 10 languages. ive reinstalled devhook, formatted memorystick, tried dif iso’s, but nothing works, anyone know wuts wrong?
@aaa
Damn. That’s like the PSP’s BSoD (Blue Screen Of Death). If I were you I’d uninstall it as soon as possible while I could.
@Ace:
I don’t understand the function of the “reboot.bin”. I think it tells the firmware to run the specific processes that the PSP does when it runs, so basically, each firmware has a custom one that tells it to do the same things but in different ways……..
That’s my guess….
Oh, and no, i’m not saying that this version won’t work, i’m just warning the n00bs to not try the flash thing, they kinda don’t sell 1.5 PSP’s in the physical store, just online, and n00bs don’t go there to buy things.
so this version isn’t unfunctional, just a basic warning to ppl who don’t read everything through ;)
Again, ppl, i’m here to help as i did with the past versions, especially with .45 for some reason, so ask me if u need any help. But i won’t help with ISO’s or the flashing it to the PSP parts ok?
i also get the bluescreen i find it happens when u use the internet browser. i just manually uninstall the dh folder and the devhook folders from the root and gamefolders in my mem stick and then reinstall
hey i got that blue screen too i fix it with when i replace the firmaware 2.71 thas all
eso me paso lo arregle copiando el firmware nuevamente espero ayude
@aaa:
wait, is it only doing the BSOD for 2.71, or for ur real 1.5 after u reboot, i got the BSOD after i dumped 1.5 and tested it with DevHook, so if it’s only for 2.71, then i’d manually check the files on the memorystick.
If a bunch of randomly named files (such as squares or random shapes and so on) then delete it and put it back in there
If u can’t delete it then run a disk check by:
1) connect ur PSP to a computer and go into USB mode
2) clik start
3) clik on “run”
4) type in “chkdsk e:/f” (without quotes ofcourse)
5) a window with a black screen should come up, follow the instructions that come up
If this doesn’t work, then ur memorystick might be fake……..hope ya didn’t get it from eBay! ;)
@none:
Just leave the homebrew on 2.71 thing to the developers, just wait for some1 to create a program that does it for you, it’s a long and confuzzling process to do it, so don’t bother with it, ok? ;)
@Ryu:
No, u don’t need the reboot.bin to return to 1.5, DevHook will emulate the firmware, but when it returns to 1.5, it’s telling the PSP to get the firmware info from the PSP itself instead of the memorystick….which is wut is happening when it emulates the firmware but vice versa (hope that makes sense!)
@Mianvro:
as i said, i don’t understand how it works, but thanks for the info.
In a way i can understand the 2.60 version workin on 2.71 because nothing really changed, like nothing was added to the XMB, just added codecs so to speak….
I can confirm that 2.71/2.60’s reboot.bin doesn’t work on 2.80, tried it the second the 2.80 decrypter came out hehe :)
Just tested:
Without devhook written to flash it takes 15 seconds to make a new connection within the browser, while with devhook written to the flash it takes 6 seconds. Many things go a lot faster too.
And yes, I believe you do write stuff into the flash while using devhook (stuff like connections).
I also believe the flash mod only works with emulating 2.71.
Also, it says WORKS ONLY WITH AN UNMODDED 1.5 on the flashing screen.
My 1.5 has been flashed atleast 30 times by XFLASH, 10 times by Themepsp (including fonts), 3 or 4 times with the devhook thing, and 5 times, flashing custom firmwares on and off, so yeah.
@loyx:
good job on a succesful flashing
I just hope that 2.71 doesn’t corrupt itself while it’s flashed!
ppl: please report ur results if u do decide to flash ur PSP with DevHook.
@squidman
hey squidman its me w/another question technically it sort of involves devhook but neways well im not sure if ur familiar with ripkits but i cant seem to get ne1 working specifically “tekken dark ressurection usa 809 psp ripkit” at ps2nfo.com (same as last time) well the problem is that when it loads up the command prompt it says deltree is not recongnized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. any ideas
@pspforever:
I’ve never heard of ripkits, explain to me what it’s supposed to do, and give me a link to download it from, i’ll try and kick this pig again :)
a ripkit removes unwanted or unnecessary aspects of the umd image, and recreates it without these aspects. for example a ripkit might remove all languages except english, in order to fit it on a 1 gig stick, or one might remove the movies if they were not interested in the story. basically it is in the interest of memory stick space…
– mu
oops, there are a ton of them here:
hxxp://www.ps2nfo.com/
Ok i just went to ps2nfo.com ……..could ya give me the name, i found about 50…..or if it’s on a specific page, still give me the link
Y would a game not fit on a 1GB ms? i got Infected to fit on there……along with 4 Full CD’s, tons of homebrew and pics, maybe also 6 movies i forget……..
(for the anti-piracy ppl out there, i downloaded it first to test it out, then i bought it after i wus done testing it….which wus a day later!)
nice! thank you for the update
i cant understand why the psp must not have a custom fw, since it doesnt actually touch the 1,5 fw files…
i mean a recovery mode would come in handy in case sth went wrong…
@squidman
ok well first of all tekken is a big iso about 1.7 gigs i have a 2 gig but curently only 1.1 a Tekken: Dark Resurrection (USA) 809MB PSP RipKit its by hjacked its on the front page http://www.ps2nfo.com a little under where it talks about 2.8 features
@ @lexis
nobody said u couldn’t use custom fw just that it’s a little risky but ur right recovery mode help’s and people have confirmed it working even with custom fw but i haven’t personally tried it since i dont feel the need to
@pspforever
yeah true
if it works, dont fix it :p
Wait, the one by hijacked?….under the Gangs of London ripkit?
That’s apparently for the European version of the game……u need a different one
“And yes, I believe you do write stuff into the flash while using devhook (stuff like connections).”
I thought it was written to memory stick along with details such as browser history, etc.
Gangs of Londo you don’t need to rip it unless you have a 1g memory stick. by the way that game is hot!!!!
Guess I learned something knew. It’s always good to learn something new about this powerful device.
@Jry_Acr:
to clear something up, i wus asking if i got the right one….it just happens to be under a ripkit for Gangs of London.
@Ace:
I’ve found where the cookies are stored, by exploring the dump after i went online, so they kinda are written to memstick.
KNOWLADGE IS POWER!
@ Squidman
look a little downer its by hjacked under where it describes the 2.8 features
@ Squidman @Ace:
you know of any program that I can edit gameboot? or make gameboot
@pspforever:
well, the way i’m reading, i’m guessing that u must have the ISO in the uncompressed form, not the way that MPH or DevHook can read it.
then once u get it in that form, run the file called RIP.bat
press Y when it tells u to, then open the ISO with the latest version of UMDGen, and do “Tools->Advanced Options->clik on Disable Optional Paths”
then once u do that, rebuild it, and compress it with CSO set to level 9
I hope it helps, but i don’t know, i’ll have to try it myself with another ripkit on Coded Arms.
well the only program would be the one in the leaked umd composer but of course its illegall i don’t have one cough cough but
@Jry_Acr:
here’s a link to a program that can edit the file type that the gameboot is on the PSP:
http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcreader/download.html
I don’t know how to use it, i didn’t download it. So ur going to have to wing it on how to use it
Thanks Squidman, I will play with it a little be I let you know the results, thanks again!. DevHook For life!
@pspforever:
did it work?
When i press home, my curser wont move to select YES, is this supposed to happen?
@Squidman
I already knew that things such as browser history and RSS feeds were written to the memory stick (ms0:\PSP\SYSTEM\BROWSER & ms0:\PSP\SYSTEM\RSSCH).
But I was wondering whether things such as connection status or better stated “Network Settings” (WEP Key, etc) were written to the PSP’s buit in NAND. I tested this by booting without my stick inserted, but it still had my Network Settings “remembered.
@Ace:
I thought u ment the settings of the emulated firmware. srry.
cause that stuff (i think ne ways, cookies r) is stored here “ms0:\dh\271\flash1\net\http”
@RileyEsco:
While emulating the firmware it won’t let u select yes when exiting from a UMD? it works for me, and no, that’s not supposed to happen, try re-installing the firmware on the memorystick.
If u wrote it to the flash, i feel so bad for u, cause i don’t know if u can overwrite what u just put there!
@ Squidman
well i dont know what you mean by what devhook can’t read. devhook can read iso’s and cso’s the only one it can’t read is dax but i dought thats what u need right now i have the iso in it’s original form (1.7 GB) but i still recieve that error
if anyone is having problems with installing and removing flash u wrote you can use the devhook launcher mod v1.10 it has everything i had problems myself kept getting the blue screen but i just removed the flash 0 files with it
@pspforever:
wut i meen is u need the uncompressed version…..but this is a wierd thing to work with……..
is the ISO on ur computer considered a “ISO file”
=== A few questions:
1. Can this be safely installed over harleyg’s custom firmware? If so, is recovery mode functional and accessible?
2. Can this be used to load ISO games off a MicroDrive or SD card (DATEL and NEOPSP users) ? Or is it still slow and can’t properly emulate 2.71?
I get the BSOD whenever I try to exit a game with the home key. For some reason the text is in Japanese. What I usually do is reboot my PSP by holding the power button for more than 10 seconds. Any of you guys have the same problem?
How do you run 2.00, 2.50 and 2.60 with devhook?
I load it and it just shuts off.
I can clear up some issues with the flash writing in devhook 4.6:
yes i tried writing to the flash and returning the flash to normal had no problems there and ran great.
Now I did run into a bug where it almost looks like your psp is bricked: I installed devhook 4.6 went into flash option and then pressed triangle to go back i pressed exit and restarted the psp when the psp came back on i put it into sleep mode and after about 30 minuts turned it on and reformatted the memstick after reformating the memstick i got the screen of death the one you see when your psp is bricked. thank god when i restarted it returned to normal. im thinking it has some kind of bug that messes it up when you go into the flash menu in devhook then reformat memstick it causes some kind of corruption
@Gogeta§§J4BR.:
It can be installed over the custom firmware, it’s just not recommended because of the fact that this is installed in the same areas (atleast i think so)
Yes it can emulate ISO’s (not .dax though) and it’s been able to properly emulate 2.71 since the last version.
@cse1320:
That’s a problem, reinstall the firmware, it’s most likely one of those bugs that we still get. So just delete it off, and put it back on.
@dig_dug:
ok, well ur first problem is that u don’t have the dumps on the memorystick. it just turns off, because u only have 2.71 on the memorystick.
a dump for 2.6 is availble for free download from this site :)
does it play iso,s or cso,s without using the umd drive?
@pcjunk:
i doubt it, but the only ISO that i have is in .dax format, so i need a converter, and i’ll test it for ya ;)
@pcjunk:
I just tested it (with this version, the previous version and the screenshot/USB mod version), It works with the UMD, but the “ISO-NOUMD” function instantly crashes the PSP when u select start, so i don’t know wut to tell ya dude. srry :(
===
@squidman:
1. you declared it’s installed “over” the custom firmware, I don’t think thats true. it is installed along with it (they work together and the recovery mode is accessed first)
2. The problem is clearly whether they are both written into flash0, I was referring to the possibility of them co-existing or one disabling the function of the other.
3. I am NOT asking if it can emulate ISOs (OF COURSE it does), I was asking if flashing devhook itself on the flash0 helps people with slow memory sticks (fake / microdrive from DATEL or NEO).
Thank you for the answer, but it really didnt answer anything I wanted :P
…
@pcjunk:
While Squidman “doubts” it (ie: doesn’t know), I need to inform you that devhook has stopped working on “noumd” hacks since it began evolving into emulating firmwares. I know it was a great feature (you can still use it for 1.5 umds) but I seriously recommend you to keep the old devhook (I know I do) until they work harder into getting all firmware UMDs work with the “noumd” hack. That is probably comming with “real” custom firmwares, such as 0×89 (keep an eye on that) or devhook itself (if you are willing to wait for the support)
.
ah ok i only asking i have still the broken umd drive problem they kost about 80 euro,s a lot of money
i was hoping for a good release with no using the umd drive bad luck thanks anyway i have tryed other options but to much work before you can start a game :(
@gogeta and wich devhook is the best?
@Gogeta§§J4BR.:
srry for saying over, i ment to say “with” (although u urself did ask “over the custom firmware”)
someone already reported that they can both co-exist on the flashdisk and function at 100%
fake memorysticks have a low chance of even running DevHook, even with the fix.
Ok, I would like to mention that I don’t know about ISO loading through DevHook, because i have neither ripped no have I pirated any ISO’s (only one, but then i bought the game and found no use for it). I said i doubt it will because pcjunk’s UMD drive has broken, so i was testing it to help him out………ok?
P.S.
ignorance is a crime………don’t sound ignorant by doing that “doubts” thing…..I’m just helping and learning new stuff along the way.
@gogeta you where saying you are using the old devhook yourself also which one
@ Squidman
Are you implying that both devhook v0.46 and custom firmware can co-exist on flash0? If so, with out effecting each other?
when i try to load this program it loads but then after it says devhook cannot be started and takes me back to psp main menu why is this?
@Ace:
someone else already got it working with both and reported no problems.
@JohnnyC:
tell me exactly what u do to attempt to run it. and also tell me what firmware ur on.
i dont know what happened to my psp but whenever i press home, the curser still wont move to the left, to select yes. also i tried resetting my psp, and when i go to change the name the curser is stuck in the left position so it makes changing the name inpossible. i orginally had a 1.52 > 2.00 > 1.50, the only loader i used was devhook, i had no problems with chaos’s installer of dh with 2.71. all i did was copy over the dh folder with the updated version. the only other flashing ive done myself was using psptheme but that was just to change the background, remove the wavy lines and change my start up sound. please if anyone has any ideas on how to correct this id, greatly appreciate it. currently right now i dont run any more games on my psp for fear of further messing it up.
@RileyEsco:
That is a really wierd problem, I know that flashing ur PSP with other stuff won’t do anything to DevHook’s performance, but it does recomend that u leave the PSP un-modded for the best results if have flashed DevHook itself to the PSP.
What i do everytime there’s an update for this awsome app, is just replace the the DevHook EBOOT’s in the GAME folder, if u get it working correctly on one DevHook, then don’t replace the “dh” folder’s, this one doesn’t come with the dumped firmware., so just replace the “dh” folder with the one that worked for ya while ago.
@Squidman:
What does the installer eboot do? cuz i recalling using it once before all this happened. another really weird thing im noticing is my nesterj is running really fast. i was playing punchout yesterday and it seemed like it was on steriods. i had the speed at 222mhz so it wasnt overclocked. also when i press home as well, its stuck on no.
I have another psp 2.0>2.6 and i fearful to downgrade it for fear of this happening to mine. what do you suggest i do. i have over 130 ISOs and i would hate to get another psp to use.
===
squidman: this “over” meant “after” heheh now I know what’s the confusion all about. I need to know if the harleyg’s custom firmware and recvery mode remains untouched or if I need to change between harleyg or devhook (now that devhook is gearing up for beeing in flash0 and modify the firmware flashed in the PSP)
thanks for confirming me that someone else has done it, squidman, thx =`]
noumd hacks doesnt work for umds higher than 1.5 on the newest devhooks (thats why yours didnt work, its probably a 2.6 game or whatever), so thats why I said he could keep and older version of devhook.
(I’m very sorry about the “doubts” thing, man. It was only weird to see people asking you as if you knew everything about it and you couldnt answer me. I guess I asked something too specific or something, sorry for replying to you like that!)
…
pcjunk: uhh its not really about “the best” version, I’m just saying older versions like “Devhook Evolved” still work with the idea of the “noumd” hack, so just keep them too if you need!
…
RileyEsco: check if your power button is stuck at “HOLD” (I know this sounds dumb, but I’ve been “stuck” at the harleyg’s recovery screen 2 times in a row and I had no idea about it XD heheh
Downgrading from 2.6 is SAFE(check if its downgradeable first, if you dont have a ta082 that is), just do it!
the only “not safe” thing youve done is use this new devhook, but your problem probably has to do with what Squidman just said: check if you have correctly updated the /dh firmware dump AND /psp/game/devhook (or whatever folder) launcher app.
You can get back to normal 1.5 if you wish to, but you are probably dealing with an older devhook launcher or firmware dump in the memorystick
good luck!
squidman: sorry about that again =`P I think I made myself clear now hehehe
@Riley Esco:
I didn’t mention a installer EBOOT, but wut i ment, is try reinstalling the firmware in the dh folder, but when ever there is a new update, don’t mess with the dh folder, just put the EBOOT for the new DevHook over on the memory stick.
@Gogeta§§J4BR.:
ppl just look to me as i know everything, cause i helped out a little too much on the previous release.
Now i have a question for u! I select 1.5(NAND) in the firmware selection, and it instantly crashes mi PSP, and the DevHook menu stays…..WTF man…?
oh, HOLY SHIT! Y DID U TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE THAT!!!!????
hey squidman,
Where should I put the 2.60 files? In the root or in dh/2.6?
Thanks
@dig_dug:
for future reference if u need to delete and reinstall a firmware, all firmwares are stored in the dh folder with their update number (i.e.:150, 200, 250, 260, 271, 280). basically it’s the firmwares without the “.” in them.
enuff with future references, to answer ur question, the 2.60 dump goes in the folder “x:dh\260″ (”x” being ur drive letter)
im on 1.5 but doesnt matter now the ultimate installers been relased got it working no probs
@JohnnyC:
I’m helping ppl who r still having trouble running it evn though it’s installed correctly.
ok back to my situation. i updated 1.50 > 2.00 back to 1.50 to see if the flash files would change and i get no luck. my curser is still messed up if i press home while in a game. does anyone know what unflasher prog i can use?
can u screenshot it with PSPshot to show us what u meen, i’m a little curious as to what u meen by “messed up”. But that is wierd, is ur PSP an original v1.5? or did u have to downgrade it to get it to 1.5 from another firmware?
originally it was a 1.52 upgraded to 2.00 then downgraded to 1.50. ive had it since october 05 and i went threw all the loaders since then. this started to happed about 2 weeks ago. when i get a chance i will post a video on youtube. i’ll keep you guys posted
Have you included support yet for the Datel 4HDD?
@RileyEsco:
ok, i wanna see this, where did u get the update, or maybe it’s just the PSP not accepting the homebutton for some reason, i’d try getting the update from somewhere else.
@Mortanius:
I honestly don’t know, but i doubt it, wait for some1 else to post here ok? ;)
just sayn’ that because i don’t want u to think that ur question is being ignored.
i have custom firmware and devhook 46 instaled to flash 0 and it works great had no problems at all my psp was a 1.52 upgraded to 2.0 then dowgraded to 1.5 now cant wait till epsilon is emulated
do you need a 1.5 version umd disc game to use devhook or can you use any umd game to run devhook 0.46?
Ta.
@joe:
It doesn’t matter what UMD is in the drive, but u only need a UMD in the drive when u change the CPU Clock speed to 333/166MHz, but if it’s set to NO CHANGE or 222/111Mhz :)
fuck mess-up
* but if it’s set to NO CHANGE or 222/111Mhz u don’t need a UMD in the drive at all………
srry bout that…tired when typing this ;)
HOW THE HECK DO I GET MY ISO TO WORK ON FIRMWARE 2.80 …HELP ANYONE..
-SAL
@SaL:
If your PSP’s installed firmware is 2.80, this program is not for you, this is strictly for firmware 1.50 only. That also meens that all HomeBrew/ISO running is not for you, go out and buy the real physical game
If you are somehow running 2.80 through DevHook……damn tell us where you got the full running dump….
i’m new to dev hook, i’m using .46 for umd emulation, and the game plays for 5 mins then crash……?????? any answers????????? i just got splinter cell yesterday and i want to beat that shit before double agent comes out!!!!
sorry i a proper newbie.. can this just be written to the memory stick instead of actually being flashed onto the psp itself???
how do you install your psp to the computer with out the installation disc
