you’re right!! the possibilities of this modchip can’t be seen right now but they’re immense. and there will always be cowards that don’t want the progress… or don’t believe in it!

I will get this modchip and will have it installed anyway!

To the guy that says sony will eventually make a firmware that will break the modchip. Cmon man, thats BS and you know it. Look at the community, sony releases updated firmwares all the time, and it hasnt stopped anything. If they were to release an updated firmware it wouldnt make any impact at all. For one, the people that are getting mod chips installed would know not to upgrade, and two, if they did want to upgrade all they would have to do is wait for a dump of the firmware to be release and upload it to there chip. Or in a worst case senario, they would have to wait for the firmware to be cracked then upload it to there psp. Just look at the community now, firmwares have been updated on the psp from day one and people are still playing homebrews and developing software for the psp. Its only the small few people that cant afford to mod/install the mod chip that are talking down on it because if they had the money to do it they wouldnt have anything bad to say about it and would get theres chipped.

look no mod chip is easy to install the first revision, it takes a while one they figure out where all the traces go they might be able to make one that installs better, plus they give you guides to make shave the traces why not use them to solder, makes not getting solder eveywhere good, also there is a “solder sheild” on the traces so if you get a little solder on them it will still work.

Great idea, but price, solder and then a Video Telescope… who in the hell has a Video telescope sitting in their closet? Oh wait a sec darling just of to get my Video Telescope from the closet won’t be long. Yer right.

I’ll stick to my unmod 2.71 and won’t have the worry of waiting to see if sony make a firmware to screw this thing up. Yer remember once installed there is no going back, and what one man makes another breaks.. it’s only time will get you by the balls.

Still think a 1.5 is still cheaper than buying a 2.7, buying a Modchip, then paying someone to install it for you. Purely an “If you have a 2.7 PSP” sorta thing.

Things are getting smaller, just look at what they cramped into such a little case. Im not suprised you need a pro to install it.

yeah.. this things way to hard to install for most ppl.

But the good thing is say you bought a 2.7 psp and cant play shit then later on instead of buying a new 1.5 for like $300 you could just pay $200 for this thing and they’ll install it for you.

On the other hand if you only buy it for $99+ then try putting it on urself and break it + your $200+ psp then your screwed!
