PiMPStreamer Updates

Two updates for PiMPStreamer – one of which was never actually covered on PSP Hacks and it should’ve been, but its just come to my attention now, and that is 2.0+ compatibility! So along with the 1.50 update [PiMPStreamer v0.65] you can also fetch the 2.0 / 2.01 / 2.50 / 2.60 compatible version [PiMPStreamer v0.62] below.
What’s new/changed in PiMPStreamer v0.65 (only functional on FW 1.50):
- change server config from the PSP user interface (press select)
- directory with ‘&’ inside is browsable
- added WMA and WAV to default extensionlist
- hopefully clear of PSP/VIDEO folder bug now.
A little note regarding v0.62 compatible with 2.0+:
Yes!! It runs now on 2.x PSP’s!! Enjoy!! Just put the 2.x files in the PSP/GAMES dir and edit the pmp.ini for server settings and eLoader will pick them up. (tested on a 2.6 white psp)
Note: Some key combinations don’t work yet (pressing start to refresh will do evil.. workaround is to go to another dir and back). Also you cannot run full speed here, advise to set the server on /2 framespeed

lol but what the hell does it do?…
You can stream every media file to your psp true wifi via pc. And lookout for the MS://PSP/VIDEO directory. This must be on your stick else it will hang.
how in the douchebag ville do you set this thing up?
its a bitchy to set up sometimes
you need a “Video” dir under ms0:/PSP
and edit the .ini file in the psp/games/pimpstreamer dir so that it says the servers ip (in my case 192.168.1.2)
also im not sure if you need to portforward port 3333 or not i did just to be safe

This app is really easy to setup. You must be dumb! Maybe the homebrew scene isnt for you. Do yourself a favor and Upgrade to 2.71.
how
has anyone actually got this to work on 2.6 ? I got everything set up properly (i think) and when i choose the directory the psp hangs and eventually turns off…
i have 2.6 and it says “not found or empty” host not connected how do i connect it. what do i connect.
