PSPsms v0.3a1 Released
greg | June 3, 2006
This is a rather cool homebrew app written in the LUA scripting language. Floppydrive, along with the aid of therealnapster84, has created a simple method of sending SMS [txt] messages to any cell phone in the US via your PSP; of course the recipient must be subscribed to the providers text messaging service.
Here’s what’s new in v0.3a1:
- SMS Send function has been remapped to the left trigger
- Now works with new versions of LuaPlayer
- Code re-written to increase overall speed
- Various bug fixes
How to use:
It uses the danzeff keyboard for lua,
press O to select the line you want to edit, press X to edit the line (make sure you delete the text that is already there)
Press select to get out of danzeff keyboard
*it goes fast so make sure you tap it quickly.
Press left trigger to send the message..

Nice!
this web site should change its look this is geting old
huh, do we need to get near a internet hotspot?
It doesn’t work Ive tried it with lua 2.0 and the last one and there is no wi-fi connection activated, therefore no send.
I got it to activate wi-fi, you need to press R+L at the same time, but my cell phone never received the message
