I’m experiencing same troubles as $6 - v2.6 w/ GTA eLoader produces a white screen using either the 1.0 or the 1.5 eboot file. Can anyone offer insight?

i like the new intro and the whole fade in/fade out to menu features. however, im having trouble with the (psuedo) sleep mode. it sleeps fine, but when i try to bring it out of sleep mode it’ll run for about half a second and then freeze up. ( this is on the 1.5 version)

great emulator by the way :)

If you’ve been getting crashes at the white intro screen, i found out that it will only crash when you ran another homebrew before it, try using it with a fresh, restarted PSP. :D

If this had a real sleep mode like SNES9X it would be far more impressive. Its a great emulator, the best snes emu available for psp to be direct, but something about having a non-real sleep/standby like the orignal snes9x did and even uo seems to make this a tad uncomfortable. The lack of that feature kills the emu ALOT, to compair it to daxzisos previous version where .dax files did not support sleep mode would be identical to how i feel about the snes not supporting it. (This is for 1.50 users by the way, 2.xx shouldnt worry about it) ^^ Overall performance is great but that one feature… Damn.

I’m 2.6 user & this emu works like a charm. Just edit your loader097.cfg to run in 300Mhz by default (look for clockspeed=222) & also comment all strings related to emu (look for this string: ["snes9xTYL"_3CEA22DE])

#41. For me that works just fine.
Moreover, I’ve figured it out, that there is no need to edit any files. Just select 300 Mhz in GTA loader menu.
EG now I’m playing Final Fantasy 5 and it is great as ever.

From Russia with love.

Well it seems like you have probs with emu intro. It’s white (white background with Mario doing his usual stuff).
The most obvious advice (for developer) is to remove it.

Ok… Just updated to 2.60 (Saw that most of the problems on 4.2 was on 2.0, which I was running)… Reformatted my stick… Copied all my files… Reinstalled SNES9xTYL… Dropped my ROMS in the folder… Rebooted… Yet I STILL see a damn white screem every time I try to load it!

install eloader97, dont run the gta cheatdevice or anything so eloader is the only thing to load on gta and use the right trigger to get to clock speed of 300 then open snes

SWEET, i got it to work now. i formated the memory stick and the only thing i put in it after that was the Eloader0.9.7 and the Snes9xTYl 0.4.2. Now, it didn’t work for me after i added my saves and the CheatDevice10US. I deleted the CheatDevice10US but still when the game loaded and i went to load the snes i got the white screen. I then tryed starting that game without memory stick then inserting it after i had the option of loading a game but..after trying to get snes to start the screen would stay black. I tryed the same thing again and this time with the CheatDevice10US in the memory stick and i got a white screen. Now…IT WAS ONLY AFTER I DELETED THE GTA SAVES FROM MY MEMORY STICK that the emulator worked again. xD…strange huh? (btw..i didn’t didn’t try it with my other game saves so i don’t know if they will cause that same problems. WEll THAT’S WHAT I GOT PERSONALLY. HOPE THAT HELPS!

hey i know why there is a problem with psp 2.xx when you use the snes emulator because you cant have cheat device or the emulator wont work so if you have cheat device take it out or is cheat device or snes?
pick one you cant have both so pick that is why it does not work ok?
