A new public release of the popular shell [XMB] replacement, PSIX, is now available for download. Many new features/fixes incorporated into this build:
- Icon support refined
- Audio no longer crackles on tabchange.
- Audio vizualisation completed and added
- File manager working
- New OSK implimented (Psikey) - Buggy at the moment with long filenames
- Image viewer improved and less prone to crashing, set as wallpaper and remove wallpaper fully functional
- Refined gui engine, for faster, smoother animations and transitions
- Filesize limitation of music changed to 7mb, unlimited size is still being worked on and is only available on beta builds
- OSK not functional until we work out the little bug!, but you can still play with it

mine doesn’t boot, black screen that say “not enough memory”
my stick is 512mb free so it must be internal memory, and that is just plain weird

does this have an internet explorer installed? cuz when I tried tu use it it said error

For those PPL.whos getting this message just turn off your cache,it should solyour problem.

To make a short story even shorter, i wasted my time and my psp’s time by downloading and installing this ridiculously and pretty much useless shell. It not only loads umd’s like the psp’s xmb, it can’t even play mp3’s or load large exotic pictures! Hey, if I try once and it don’t work, I the stuff. This shell isn’t ready, i feel bad for the people who ACTUALLY bought the full version, lol!!!!11 This thing is only worth the opening sequence, nothing more…
It would’ve been nice if this HB App came with a detailed read me file.
My clock speed is not 333 MHz like the image shown above, it’s around 256 MHz. So I am thinking there is a way to change it.
Also, when the shell is open, my HB Apps show the default icon and not the specific icons as shown above. So there must be a way to change them.
Does the video fuction work for this shell? If so, what video format does it support e.g. .MP4, .MPEG, what?
Can someone creat a read me file on how to use all features of this shell?

this psix is by far the worst thing ever. Audio visualizers..bah yeah right. pspadvance did a better job with that
