PSP2IRC – IRC from your PSP
greg | April 17, 2006
The almighty Gary13579 has begun developing a script in which will allow you to establish a connection to an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server via the PSP web browser. It’s simple – just fire up the browser and head over to psp2irc.psp-hacks.com. Currently, in this demo version, you’re restricted to one server; however, in the future [when the source code is publicly available] you’ll be able to configure this on your own web server and have full control.
What’s IRC? Wikipedia describes it the best.
And in the meantime, if you don’t feel like chatting with your PSP, you may use the java-based IRC client – come and say hi!
Mad props to Gary for a great development.

Good Job Gary13579.
PSPIRC.com does the same thing and it’s been out much longer. Oh well I don’t use IRC.
pspirc.com has been shut down.
Yes, PSPIRC.com shut down and the owner never released the source code. I plan on releasing my source code when I clean it up, remove bugs, and optimize it.
That would be good – except for the fact that it will be flooded by all the kiddies that post here.
It doesnt seem to work for me. It just says connecting then returns to login screen.
