Do i need a different booter to support a umd that requires firmware 2 or say 2.5?
The clarity in what versions of Umd this app covers is blighted by a lack of clarity in the writeup. THus leading to stupid questions!

This the same as RunUMD, only that it has the files extracted from a 2.5 game already included with it. That way you can run those games.

yes i concur with 23. can OutRun Coast2Coast run on this? it would be nice tho if it could run the UMD mounted in the virtual Drive. that would save alot of peeps the grief of buying the blasted game for a few hours of pleasure

I tried my UMD of GTA and WWE Smackdown 2006 and they do not load. Anyone know a reason or seomthing to do to make it work? I am running 1.5 firmware.

BTW: I’ve discovered a new HACK that GUARANTEES 2.6 owners the ability to run ISO’s on their psps! This is great news! Here’s how to do it:

1. Chuck your 2.6 POS in the trash.

2. HACK into the display case of your local Wal-Mart, and take all the psp’s they have.

3. Check the FW version of each one of them, you’ll prolly find at least one that’s still 2.0.

4. Use MPH downgrader to get 1.5 working on that psp!

Tadaa! You now have a perfectly homebrew-ready psp! I take donations via PayPal, just reply, and I’ll let you know that you’re an idiot.

i ran SOCOM on this….it works fine but too bad you cant save or anything….or any online fragging either…..

Downloaded the fixed x folder from megaone’s website, GTA LC still crashes but it takes a couple more minutes to do so.

socom only works with campaign, and it doesnt detect your memory stick so u cant save, and when you try to go online it says psp net error, but this shit still is pretty cool, thanx 2 whoever made it!!!!!!

i have a question, can i play socom online with the socom fix in the x folder???

it should work for japanese PSPs and Japanese games too, im pretty sure games aren’t region-restricted. some ppl here in Canada buy imported white PSPs(they were imported from Japan) and they play Canadian PSP games on their Japanese PSPs, so it should be fine for the homebrews too

it doesnt work with me and my katamari and if the comment is right and it the files from 2.5 than of course it wont work with games that realy take 2.6 (some want 2.6 but use the files from 2.5) and thats why some games work i tried this when run umd first came out

As soon as I downloaded this app, I drove out to Fry’s and bought Initial D. I ran back to my car, ripped open the UMD case and threw my new copy of Initial D into my PSP…to my suprise the game loaded but sadly after that, the PSP would just freeze…. T_T

this is how to get gta to run off the memory stick it works…but uses most of the 1 gig that i have so i copied all my files to my hard drive and just transfer them when i need to..

i don’t know what all the hype is about 1.5, the homebrew games are ancient and some sustain interest for about all but 5min. Wanna spend all day hacking your PSP??
