modsyn has released an update to the popular PMP/AVI encoder, pMEnc. v0.3 incorporates a few additions: URL encoding has been added, and the audio sampling method has been improved, in hopes to solve issues people experienced when increasing the volume [PMP only] in v0.2.
Download pMEnc v0.3 - Please note this version does NOT come packaged with a Java Runtime Environment, so you’ll need to have Java installed on your system - visit Sun to obtain Java.
nice job on this

Would you assholes top saying stuff like “OMG cool” or :) nice job keep up the good work lol” already? Jesus. It’s just more shit to scroll through.

Okay, I don’t know about other people, but I read the comments section on these post to see comments ABOUT THE POST! NOT you stupid peoples curse words. Grow up…
Too bad this thing doesn’t run in Java for us Mac users.
What exactly is this? Is it a avi player for psp?

#3…OMG cool! OMG cool!!!
it’s called “Compliments”. Stop being so grouchy.
I love the work developers do for free.
Keep up the great work
Quit faggin out #3…..
Props to you modsyn…
i didnt even know u can get java on psp…..tight work dude
-D.W.
url encoding:please explain…
#6 - No, it’s not an AVI player - it’s a program you can use to encode videos (such as AVIs) into MPEG4 videos you can play natively on the PSP. The best bit (in my opinion) is that you can “stack” files to encode - so you can leave a queue of say 10 videos going overnight, and when you come back - voila! hours of MPEG fun!
#10 - The mention of Java is because you actually install it on a PC - the MPEG videos it produces arethen transferred to a PSP.
#11 - I’m not sure either, but I *think* you can find a video online - say youtube or google video - and then get it to encode while streaming from that site. At least I certainly hope so - that would be dark.
Who Cares? Ho Hummmmmm
it’s very laggy. I have to leave the computer because I can’t even use the mouse when it’s loading parts…
I haven’t actually got a video to load either.
first things first great work. i can convert and plaay my movies fine but what is the network setup for. is it for streamin vid to my PSP.
is this a aviplayer for psp?
plz write better about it !!!!!
#17 read comment 12.
anyone experiencing long load times here’s what i recommend.
get the LATEST Java upate, version 1.5_06 from the update site. i had similar problems on a machine i was testing on and that solved the problem.
#17 - This software is very interesting to do two things : 1) Rip DVD with/without subtitles
2) Reencode all your videos
It is compliant with to PSP players working on 1.5 (perhaps 2.0 with fanitja loader) which are PSPplayerMT and PMPMOD.
These 2 players can plays full 480×272 videos (the psp native resolution), and give a better quality than the normal “authorized” resolution by sony (320×240).
The 0.3 version is a best software (I am going to put my buggy FLASKMPEG to trash). Thanks a lot
Is psp video 9 a good program for converting to psp video? That’s what I have right now.
i am a dumb ass how do you get this working ? when i click to add a file nothing happens!!!
hey #3 go finger urself u douchebag. pple can comment ne way they want. leave them the fuck alone u pecker.
you guys should only leave comments that would help other people who needs help working this thing. Stop leaving irrelevant comments, we should benefit from this all.
Note.. just tired of reading irrelevant, redundunt comments.
I wish this thing could encode matroska (mkv) files.
I also wish that and wmv asf
It can encode matroska files. Thats one of the reasons i use this program.
This is good work , bravo! it’s SOOOO coool! OMG!!! I can’t stop to be exclamative ! :) keep up the good work!!
