After many beta releases, Ruka has finally released v1.11 of NesterJ - the most stable NES emulator available for the PSP.
Changes include:
- Development environment was changed from PS2SDK to PSPSDK.
- Compression of SAVE data (SRAM etc.) and STATE data (ZIP format).
- Compatible file format of NNNesterJ.
- Format of thumbnail file was changed from non-compression raw to PNG.
- Emulation processing improvements.
- Added screenshot function (it saves to the “PSP/PHOTO/NesterJ/” folder by the PNG format).
- And other minor changes.

yeah! i love this emulator, but this version isn’t much better than the one i already have on my PSP
#6 , every nintendo character except Link suck , and the best video game character there is is Leon from resident evil 4 , how I love that game , with resident evil 4 not even the sky is the limit , with nintendo characters no one cares , the limit is 2 feet above the ground , resident evil 4 rules all games even halo 2 , vene gears of war , even legend of zelda ocarina of time , even star wars knights of the old republic , the xbox is such a great console and with more power than the others but does it have resdent evil 4????? , noooooooooooo , I wish xbox had resident evil 4 , resident evil 4 owns me , that game is amazing , ok back to psp.
Cool a nes emulator that works for my 2.6 piece of shit psp , right on , now I can play legend of zleda and legend of zelda 2 and…………… I don’t know what else but I still can play the 2 games that started the link adventures , hey I know this consoles suck but anyone making a gamegear , neogeo , negeo color , 3DO , game.com and phillips conole ( which I don’t know the name ) emulator , I know this console suck but I wanna see how much they suck :) .

#13 its normal that it says that on the 1st. time ,cause theres no config.file in there yet until you made any changes and save it as Default..

Awesome that you like the same NES game I do! Dusty Diamond’s All-star Softball is one of the greatest little-known NES titles out there and definately one of the quirkiest baseball/softball games ever made.
#18 i get the “load config failed. set default…” every time. i have to push circle after that and then i can go to a screen where i choose a path and i go to the path with my roms and select one then the psp freezes up. am i missing the config file?
Try to delete your old config file
#24 Whats your firmware.I have 2.60 and im using the eloader 96,it work fine and i get that message too on the first time i run the Emulator ,after that it should work fine.The reason why it does that is theres is no config file in there yet until you run the software.
what is the filename that it creates? i am running 2.6. there is no config file it never creates one it creates 2 folders and that is it.

Its not actually a folder its a file that named like this (NESTERJ.CFG)and ti should be on the same dir. where the eboot is.

I’m having the same problem as #33 and I really think someone shoul post an answer for what’s going on.
I have no idea what I’m supposed to do with these files. Probably because I’ve barely used my psp :p Where do I put them?
