Heh, it’s safe if you know what you’re doing, if not, well, you may be screwed. I actually created a folder on my flash1 where i store some ’secret’ information i don’t want people to see, yet i want to have access to. Gotta love File Assist.

Anyways, nice job Team overload.

Also, it’s always wise to make a back up copy of any and all files you that edit. That way, if you do make a “boo-boo” (which can be devastating in hex files), you always have your original.

I’d liked to change the font but I don’t want to risk the psp , I’m not rich and for me losing 250 dollars is so sad. But iw ould be very nice to change the font , really great app.

To be honest though it doesnt seem worthwhile. Its great but I’m not going to use a different font, it seems like too much work for something so useless. Its really only cosmetic, and unless you know how to write your own fonts its not unique.

@poeple saying they brick their PSPs, it’s impossible, all you’re doing is editing the psp BIOS 1 which is recoverable. If any files, or corrupt data is missing from BIOS 1, upon restart of your psp BIOS 0 will on its own replace the missing or corrupt files. So it’s mostly fool proof.
Plus BIOS 0 isent editable in 2.00 and above, and if for some reason you deleted files on BIOS 0 and have a 1.5 psp, you sir are screwed…

becuase File assit only allows you to read psp BIOS 0 in 2.00+
The only why to brick your psp is deleting psp BIOS 0 files through a 1.50 psp.

the font is kinda cool, but the best part is that it only takes a few seconds to change it back. just go to bios0 and copy the font folder to the root of yourr stick, and then make a copy of the fontmod folder, and rename whichever one you prefer to “fontmod”
