Its says that running this app at 333 will brick your psp can any1 give a second opinion on that and just to ask i thaught that bricking only ment if the prog messed with a flash0:\ file and if it does brick the psp if it runs at 333 im not even gona put it opn becuzz i put it on 333 now without noing i even did it lol ill brick my psp the first time i use it

This program is made by Korean programmer. I forgot his ID but he uploads every updated version of this file at ruliweb.com which is Korean video game fansite. I’m pretty sure this program is used by most of Korean psp user since they love watchinb video files. I’ve been using this program too since it was released first time.

The only program this program causes is that battery runs out so fast since it runs at 333 Hz. There is NO KNOWN problems of this program yet.

I wanna correct my misspelled word of #17. The only PROBLEM of this program…

wait so is there any chance of bricking at 333mhz. i’ve run my psp at 333 for a long time and no problems so i doubt it can brick it but i wanna be sure.

If you 2.0 users are having trouble just make sure you are using the eloader 0.9 not 0.95. if anyone knows a better eloader to use for it or has any advice help us out.

ofcourse you still have to flippin well transcode your videos!! youll have to resize any video down to the supported size and that takes as much time as PMP transcoding…

I don’t know why this would save you much time over PMP, as you still need to re-encode you’re videos to the right size.
The only good thing i can see about this atm (until they allow you to use any res) is that you can now encode your movies to your fav format, with whatever your fav encoder is.

Tried playing several m4a, mpg and wmv files and 1 worked out of cca 20.

everything works fine but with videos, it takes forever to load. i tried loading a full tv episode. the loading went to like 6000 and i turned it off. i tried running another video and it just crashes after a few seconds.

This *bip* bugged my psp,I have Wipeout pure and it always worked fine,since I ran this PSPlayer Wipeout keeps freezing when loading and I can’t play that game anymore,now I’m testing other games to see if others are affected by this piece of ****.Don’t install this.

ive just tried a few difrant avi files at 480×272 and it was perfect also tried mpg at 320×240 also played that perfect / then i tried WMV wich was also 320×240 and guess what played it fucking perfect and as for ppl saying you have to still reencode no you dont just resize wich only takes abt 8 mins with vdub to encode the same file into pmp format would take abt 45 to 50 mins on my 3.4ghz pc so its alot quicker just to resize than use pmp emcoder

Crashes every time. Gay. If I wanted to convert all my videos to a particular resolution, I’d just encode them into MP4. This program is useless until resolution doesn’t matter. I can’t believe people ask questions on the comment section. If you ask a question you are retarded. Use the forum.

Guys Please stop putting our coders down. If you really fucking think you can do a better job. Hey please be my guest, but if you can’t make a better program than the ones being tested by us please stop fucking complaining. If you cannot handle the fact that not every coder will make the things exactly the way u want, do urself a favor. Leave the fuckin website now. You guyz who always complain are a real big pain in the ass. How about just testing this out at your own discretion and following steps carefully. Be more resourceful and read posts before trying anything out.

Technical Notes for the PSP:

Running your PSP at 333MHZ will not brick your PSP. I repeat It absolutely will not brick your PSP. It will leak your battery faster and u will have to carry your charger with u a lil more often cuz of pull of power from the PSP, but thats about it. BRICKING YOUR PSP OBVIOUSLY HAS TO BE FIRMWARE CODING OR TAMPERING WITH THE PSP’s FLASH MEMORY/FIRMWARE. THE PSP HAS BEEN CAPPED AT 222MHZ for a conservative battery life thats all.

Note : I FOR ONE HAVE NOT TESTED THIS PROGRAM. But it is a very big step towards the kind of programs we should be seeing for the PSP. Big props. I just think Homebrew creators should vigorously test these pieces of software so that nobody gets their PSP’s which we paid 200+ $ for messed up. Good work guys and keep the homebrew community running forever …. Thanks !

It doesnt play WMV, it just crashes when loading.

this is a great app… but i have a question… whenever i put in a movie file it always sort of glitches like a video will play sort of like frame-by-frame can anyone tell me why it’s doing it

Tell you what, you also have to reencode your video files even if you use the other programs. what’re all those negative comments? people you just gave shits to are the ones who try to make better homebrews for you

if u people want to put videos onto your psp just go on to google and look for PSPVideo 9.
this is the best FREE transcoding product tht i could find.

Kind of stupid really… Its good it supports so many formats but the screen size means you still have to transcode your files down to the correct aspect ratio.

Doing that takes just as long as converting Divx to PMP.

it’ll play the mp4’s great but the only problem is after 1 video is started you cant start another one without it crashing. But hey at least it works to some degree.

I had a bunch of smartphone divx movies and I was dreaming of watching them on my PSP. This app made my dreams true!! Everybody here talks about downsizing videos. but hey! it needs no upsizing. you can enlarge small sized videos to fit the screen. Though I didn’t try yet, I assume that VCDs would look perfect on PSP.

This works fine on 1.5 from what i’ve experienced.

But does anyone know if its possible to cue up tracks? I’m using wma’s and it plays 1 track from the cd and then i have to select the next, then the next, then the next. It should just play everything in the folder.

I tried this on my 1.5 and worked great playing wmv, avi, mpg. If its not working try using windows movie maker to make the video.

Where do the files go? I downloaded the thing and put it in game in a folder but all it says is ‘corrupted Data’ (I have a psp v4.05 will it work on that?)
