eLoader v0.96 “Bière d’Alsace”

greg | March 8, 2006

Fanjita and Ditlew have released eLoader v0.96 - code named, “Bière d’Alsace.”

New features in v0.96 - including many bug fixes and improved stability!:

  • Full support for infra-red (for GTA-mode only).
  • Lots of extra configuration parameters, including GTA-only and TIFF-only options.
  • USB support in the menu (TIFF-mode only).
  • Use O as well as X to select in the menu.
  • Use Square to get EBOOT IDs from the menu.
  • Most corrupted menu icons now fixed.
  • GTA autoload option in installer.

“Bière d’Alsace” provides two methods for using the loader:

  1. TIFF method, using the PSP’s PHOTO menu [only works on v2.00 PSP's]
  2. GTA:LCS method, using the savegame exploit [for 2.01+ users -- GTA UMD required]

Download eLoader ZIP archive [manual install]

Download eLoader Windows Installer [automatic installer]

Awesome, hopefully they figure out someway to downgrade on the 2.01+.

BTW I have one question for all you n00bs, why does it matter what order you post comments in?

haha lemmayoshi, it’s because they have no idea how sweet this new loader is. for noobs, this loader has IR, so you will hopefully be able to use your psp as a remote, i’d recomend IR commander because of its ease and simplicity, i’ll comment back after I see if it will work.

What I meant was, maybe fanjita will find a different exploit in one of the psp menus, or something like the TIFF overflow.

it wont work unless he changes the eloader drastically. since it currently has no wifi, but the IR was a huge step forward in my opinion. Yay fanjita!

Fanjita and Ditlew should start working on getting the “home” button to work and a way to get back to playing gta after opening up eboot loader or something like that

i have 2.6 and all of the IR apps are running. im so happy. one of em i was able to control my PS2. ps2 dvds, games, main menu, cds. you have to turn the ps2 on urself. and games are difficult to control plus you dont have R2 and L2 so whatever

Awesome. .95 was a huge increase in stability vs .9 and I’m sure this is even better. USB in the menu system will be good too. :)

If you want to use ur psp as a remote for tv’s, use the lirc, Universal remote, thats easier than IR, but if you want to control other stuff use IR commander, you have to get the hex codes off the internet, open up panasonic tv as a word document, paste the new codes where they should go, then save it as ex. sony.rdf

#34, start gta, and take out the mem stick. When the games done loading, put the mem stick back in. There shouldn’t be any autoload
