New PSP Homebrew Guide
Alias420 | March 4, 2006
Aston Reyes has been kind enough to send us his 7 page all encompassing guide to running homebrew on the PSP. You can check out the article by clicking here or visiting our psp hacks section. This guide is definetly worth checking out if you are new to homebrew. It’s probably worth checking out even if you aren’t a newb. A big thanks goes out to Aston for his great work!

Wow thanks so much this will help all thoes nOObs out there
Yay Sony
My bad i meant newbes =)
Ya, I just wanted to stop all this confusion becasue a whole new line of people that hack psps don’t know what they’re doing.(if you haven’t noticed, I wrote it)
newbs is spelt nOObs
Man, the “?” marks get real annoying. Sorry guys, when Greg put my guide on the site the text was times new roman and the ‘,”,-,etc. all became ?s, I’m probally gonna make a revised version. But I hope you like what I wrote so far
Well done mate.
Heres a thought for you, maybe start your own site or source of guides and call it “&$#$ for NoObS (instead of dummies)”, copyrighted of course.
Horror stories of what not to do are always funny as well – hows the tape holding up?
Actually its n00b (with zeros).
It’s actually
/\/00|3 you n00bs
well, the tape actually works pretty well. I can still play UMDs (with the sound of a jet plane as it reads). Boy, starting a site with guides. sounds good, but I have alot of other things to do. It took me 3hrs to make this guide, and I didn’t double check. I also have school, and other things. Maybe when I have time I will. I just hope that all the confused 2.6 people will read my guide and understand it say they’d stop asking DOES THIS WORK ON 2.6. That’s mainly the reason why I wrote it. I’m probally gonna take some pictures of my psp for the world to see its state. Maybe I can make a sympathy donation site. Like, look at mypsp, donate a dollar please, so I can get a new one. Then, I’d have a homebrew psp and a legal 2.6 that is strictly for sony shit and games. Anyways, For a last note, Don’t go crazy when you see a disc read error, cause I stripped screws, ripped a cover off, and I have to bare the loud screeching noise when it reads. Well, hope you like the guide!
yea, wow kickass read, but how do I get iso play on my 2.6 PSP, you forgot about that part in the book, heh, thanks…
lol #12 (noob) i dnt think there is any 2.60 iso loader as of yet. The 2.6 homebrew through the gta exploit still doesnt give all the homebrew. Hopefully in a while it could be possible 2 make a downgrader using gta, that would piss sony off!! and wud make the homebrew even more popular as any1 would be able to downgrade to 1.50 :D
yea, there is no ISO loader for 2.6, it says in my guide to go to fanjitas website for all compatible homebrew.
hey guys, dont u think i would be tight if theres a software that could convert pc files and programs to a psp format?
so u cud convert pc games like gtasa,quake4,and other softwares to a psp format and run it on ur psp
wow, 14 your off topic, READ THE GUIDE, off topic not good, I wrote the guide, other than that, there was a project that was working on that, the converted the MSminsweeper program to psp format, but I think the project is dead. Plus, there is no way to convert GTASA or Quake 4 to psp format. Why? Too big, No DirectX,Low CPU power, etc. PC files is a very vauge way of putting things and it’s not a simple 1-2-3 to get things onto a psp.
I wanna see carmageddon on PSP just to take the off-topic to a dif level.
& the No0b$ spell it any way we want until we are not No)b$………lol
hey has anyone tryed the eboot loader on GTA with a diffrent game
