Hey folks, sorry about the slow updates - been on a [and still am] hiatus in Las Vegas! Luckily there hasn’t been any real news/hacks worth mentioning; however, browsing quickly through the forums I discovered Edison Carter’s Cheat Device, for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, has been bumped up to version 1.0. Yeah yeah, I know we’re behind with this - no one else has posted it and I’m away - so deal with it. ;)
But, all that aside, this release incorporates some fancy features:

Enjoy!

Comments (32)modsyn has released an update to the popular PMP/AVI encoder, pMEnc. v0.3 incorporates a few additions: URL encoding has been added, and the audio sampling method has been improved, in hopes to solve issues people experienced when increasing the volume [PMP only] in v0.2.
Download pMEnc v0.3 - Please note this version does NOT come packaged with a Java Runtime Environment, so you’ll need to have Java installed on your system - visit Sun to obtain Java.

Comments (42)Dark_AleX has released a new version of the popular DAX ZISO loader - now sitting comfortably at version 0.4.
DAX enables you to shrink existing ISO images (that you’ve created from a backup!) using a custom compression format - resulting with more space available on your memory stick!
v0.4 changes:
Everything you require is in the package below:
By the way, this only works on 1.50 and you require a UMD to be present in the drive - for more info, click below…
Comments (59)ss13801, from our forums, has released an update to TaSkPSP.
TaSkPSP is written in the LUA scripting language, and what this does is basically what you see below - displays a status summary of the PSP in its current condition.

Changes in v0.4:
-UMD PRESENT NOTIFICATION
-BATTERY VOLTAGE NOTIFICATION
-NEW BATTERY CHARGING NOTIFICATION ICON
-NEW COLORS
-NEW FONTS
-UPDATED ICON
-REMOVED TaSkPSP FILE MANAGER/VIEWER(WAS NOT COMPLETE/WILL BE ADDED AGAIN IN FUTURE UPDATE)
-STAND ALONE VERSION FOR 1.5 FIRMWARE DID NOT TEST ON 2.X
Very simple - yet it may serve useful for those just learning the LUA language.

Comments (29)To follow up with the recent PSP font mod discovered by TeamOverload, Skylark and Freeplay have released a tool to convert standard TrueType fonts [TTF] to PGF format.
Usage details:
ttf2pgf <source .ttf> <dest .pgf> [<face -options> [<shadow -options>]]
* source.ttf is the source font file
* dest.pgf is the result file (the one that will be created)* face-options is a string created from the following components:
- <integer> : font size (height) in pixels
- h<float> : horizontal scaling factor
- a<float> : font advance scaling factor
- b : embolden
- i : italicize* shadow-options is a string created from the following components:
- n : no shadow (do not emit shadow records)
- b<float> : Gaussian blur filter radius
- i<float> : shadow intensity

Comments (12)Sony has finally released a cheaper version of the PSP (and it’s about time). This new version doesn’t come with all the stuff the value pack does; it only includes the PSP unit, a battery, and the AC adapter. That means if you want to save your games you will have to buy at least the $20 32mb memory card.
If you’ve been waiting to buy a second PSP (one for homebrew, one for official Sony games), this is definitely the time.
This new PSP will have 2.5 or higher firmware, that is almost guaranteed.

Comments (34)supa_sick from pspdizaster has released a tool [PDWE] responsible for enabling WMA playback on firmware version 2.60 without requiring Wifi access to the Internet. What you’ll require now is a copy of the Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories UMD and eLoader - the rest is quite easy to accomplish:
There you have it - that easy! Afterwards you can change your PSP system name to anything you like.
And now a little warning: (from the README file)
*WARNING* if this bricks your psp, pspdizaster are not to be blamed. You are the one that took the chance of using this so blame yourself…
*** We at pspdizaster have tested this and have not bricked our psp so if you brick its your fault for altering the file while thinking you can do more with this file***
Now, with that said, download PDWE
