KETM PSP v0.8
greg | February 24, 2006
Kill Everything That Moves (KETM) is an old school, highly addictive, fast paced tyrian style 2D shooter ported to the Sony PSP by Deniska. The screenshots really say it all: (click to enlarge)
KETM features:
- 3 levels with different environments, music & bosses
- 14 enemies with unique attack patterns and adjusting hostility
- 7 primary weapons
- 4 secondary weapons (rockets, laser, bomb, rotating shield)
- 2 mods: original episode1 and 1941 mod by bourbon_bot
- Fully modable design: you can change sounds, graphics, script your own attacking sequences and intensity.
- Source code & PSPSDK Makefile provided
Deniska has also released a slew of ported homebrew titles for the PSP, including (just to name a few):
- Jazz JackRabbit
- Rise Of The Triad
- Dave Gnukem
- Dodgin’ Diamond II (my personal fave)
- SuperTux
…plus many more.
These, and others, are all available over at Deniska’s forum release thread.

1st this luks wiked
this looks pretty kool
I’m not sure I’ll give this a try. I don’t even know how to setup doom, muchless run it, with Brown Ale. I’m not even sure that works for the 2.60. I almost feel certain I won’t be able to get this game running right. I may try it if anyone can help me out with a step by step.
cool, but gonna wait for a 1942 mod (I know there are roms and emulators, but I feel morecomfortable with an actual programed game)
it works perfectly fine on the 2.00 eboot loader
this works with the newest version of the eloader!!!!!!!!!!
and the game is very well done!
How’d u get this workin woth 2.6???
and off topic—
How’d u get doom workin on 2.6
i have the lastest e-loader
it works with 2.6 and its really addicting, though its a lil bit hard
put the game in ur GAME folder inside ur psp….. then run the eloader
Ok, every time I put this into my game folder all I get is corrupted file. What’s going on with that?
Just put it on my PSP (2.0). Seems pretty cool. I have to say this game has the greatest title ever lol!
Well, finally took a chance and all I can say is wow! Holy Smoke! Just when the Kernel message came up and I thought it wouldn’t work, pow! The sucker loaded with no problems! Woohoo!
do u really need to use the eloader?
The controls are kinda bad. When I press left or right it moves a lil’ bit and stops, even when I hold it down. And no, it’s not my psp D-pad, it works just fine with all my other crap.
It works with 2.5, and using the D-pad sucked. Using the joystick is a better
works with 2.6 without GTA?
yes works with 2.6 GTA and #14 you have to use the joy stick works a lot better
o did not read #16 post right no it does not run without GTA currently no homebrew works without GTA but hopefully soon some one will get it STAY HAPPY AND BEEEEEELLLLLIIIIVVVVEEEE
uuuhhh cross fingers
where do you get the new eloader.
uh, how I run on gameboy advance wif ram stick?
didn’t work on 2.6 GTA loader…Did it work for any 2.6 users?
yes worked for me
Put just the KETM & KETM% files int the game folder.
this game is pretty good, this guy has some serous skills
is this compatible with 2.01?
what’s the SRC file for? where is it suppose to go into?
w00t just tried it works on 2.01
You can add the src to KETM, altough it works without it as well.
this is one of the best homebre ive ever played it worked on 2.60…can anyone help me with doom?
#7: I downloaded Doom 0.05. I was able ti get it running on my 2.60. You’ll need the Brown Ale eLoader. You also need PSP Brew to create a 1.0 EBOOT file. From there, just copy the Doom folder in the FW15 folder to your Game dir. You won’t need the Doom% folder. Then copy over the original EBOOT with the EBOOT you created with PSP Brew. I tried just using the EBOOT that was already in the FW10 folder, but that didn’t work. Go figure. I have Doom 2 running right now. My wad files for both DOOM and DOOM 2 are 11mb or more each.
Any Who, hope that helps.
just wondering, how big is the file you put on the memory stick?
OFF TOPIC nevermind, i was being n00bish, and i forgot to read, lol
but its a decent size, so ill try it out
Great game but really hard. I cant even get passed leval 2.
You must use the joystick and the src files are source which means if your a programer you can use this to help you out or make a mod.
its a pretty cool game but how can u get a gba emulator to work on your psp with a 2.60 version?
Can someone send me or send me an email on where to find the original doom2 and doom wads so I can play them on the PSP?
-Thanks
