‘Brown Ale’ Config Files
greg | February 24, 2006
Fanjita has again done us all a wonderful favour. For all those folks trying to tweak and optimize your eLoader configuration to best suit your needs, Fanjita has now released the latest and greatest configuration settings.
The eLoader features dynamic configuration files, that let you change its behaviour to suit your tastes, or to adapt it to support new homebrew when it is released. The README.TXT file describes how to edit the configuration file (”/psp/eloader/loader095.cfg”), and the meaning of most of the important parameters.
You can always grab the latest and most optimized configuration files over at Fanjita’s website.
This configuration pack improves the compatibility with the following (for the latest ‘Brown Ale’ eLoader):
- BookR 0.6 : now runs in TIFF mode.
- ScummVM 0.8.2 (Firmware 2.0 edition) : now runs in TIFF and GTA mode.
- PSP-GBA v1.1 : now runs in GTA mode.
- SNES9x TYL 0.3 : now saves games correctly.
Download the latest ‘Brown Ale’ configs – Extract the files to the ‘/psp/eloader’ folder.
Thanks for the email Huyen

:-(
i managed to get everything working. however when i play PSPGBA it has a strange crackling sound. how do i stop this?
I’m not thinking about this program right now. I still can’t get the damn MPH FW & game loader to work correctly… it shouldn’t be this complicated.
I’ve no complaints. I just don’t see an option to adjust config settings anywhere. I didn’t give it a good workout yet though.
After READING the download page for this file, I now see that I have to edit the program manually (with wordpad or notepad seemingly). I don’t see how this differs from the other releases since I was able to access the file that way before. Then again, I’m still a noob. Perhaps the new files allow the cahnges to take affect. As long as I can play my super nintendo games, I’m cool. :)
