I’m not expecting a whole lot out of this project on the PSP hardware, but it’s cool to see people are at least investigating the possibility of a playable N64 emulator.

Hmmmmm…. (an)N64 emulator(s) would be quite nice but my biggest concern would have to be the controls…

I thought about the controls too but some dude on the forums said “you could acess half the buttons normally then hold down L or something and then the buttons could be the rest of them” so that way not having all the buttons wouldnt be much of a problem..!!!!

Glad you guys like the update. Do note I still have a long ways till we are playing comercial roms (i’ve yet to touch rsp/rdp emulation which is needed in comercial games). Yet ever day we do get closer :)

That would be me (PSmonkey = Nexis2600). At the current time I just have the 4 face buttons A,B,L Trig, R Trig. If you hold down PSP Left Trigger it will turn the 4 face buttons into the n64 c buttons. PSP right trigger is n64 z-trigger. Analog is analog & d-pad is d-pad.

This is just temp stuff that gives me all the keys. Once it gets more to running comercial games then customised input will be added.

if psmonkey can get a n64 emu working at close to full speed on a psp, that would be awesome becuase n64 games are better then psp games, that means we should all donate 2 or 3 bucks to him just so he can cover all of his psp and bandwitch expenses

Hmm,I think it’s a waste of time,because n64 emu will NEVER run at a full speed on PSP,so playing any comercial games would be impossible.Can’t you see it?We don’t even have fast GBA emulation and you want n64?Impossible for me.

it will probely lag when it comes out because its a new emulator to the psp but in time it will get probely get updated.

OMGI can’t wait for it I need it , I will donate 50 dollars when I turn out 16 ( 1 and a half years ) because then I will have a part-time job , OMG need to have it , psmonkey tell me if you will have one before 2 weeks , I will only play roms of games I own ( although to pass by legal I just buy the real games cheap on e-bay then put the games in my closet just to have right to own roms , I’m very original :))

And I have an idea about a 2.6 downgrader ( stupid since I’m a 14 year old kid ) what if you brick a 2.6 psp and then you take the internal codes from hacking a psp 1.5 or 1.0 and somehow open the psp , take the memory with the usb drive out and somehow pass those codes to the bricked psp’s memory and then the psp start working at 1.5 ( note: I don’t know if this is possible neither how can it be done , just wanna give out stupid ideas that somepoeple may take some of the information and create it ina a better idea )

This is ganna be awesome, can you imagine playing Super Smash Bros. that will totally PWN the DS, also Mario Kart, MK is one of the reasons DS is doing so well, and… well, SSB is just plain cool!

Anyways I made an update on my page again. I got more roms working and input functional. I am still not running comercial roms but every day I am getting closer and closer to the start of rsp/rdp emulation which will lead to comercial roms being playable.

psmonkey everyone counts on you to make the n64 emulator , plz finish it soon and I’ll convince my parents to let me donate 10 dollars ( I make money tricking retards to buying yugio cards but I doubt my parents will let me donate , that looks a bit retard ).
