Don’t ever trust those kinda sites, they’re to gifddie on the fact that upgrading psps will refraim it from working homebrew. Plus, the descriptions are so fake (I spent so much money and now I upgrade and it doesn’t work, wtf? This site is trying to imress on the fact that they know nothing about downgrading psps, not only to mention that these are STEPS, it’s not an actual file you can use a boot a downgrader wich is the only way to get it down. The instructions may say to get a new psp for all wee know.) Great job fanjita, soon you’ll find a way to go down to 1.5 and they psp world will love you. And #2, brown ale is a loader for psps with 2.0+ firmware and GTA so they can run homebrew.

This might be just a simple fix for my part but I’m having trouble with the loader auto-loading when I start GTA!! That’s very bad! I have v. 2.0 and I’d like to play GTA when I feel like it even when I dont have my PC around to take out the exploit save thing. Anyone know how I can get around this? I downloaded the zip so I would know that the file names aren’t the same or something w/ the game saves, and so it wouldnt automatically do the ‘back-up’ thing to them as well.

Hey i download the installer and install it on my psp than i download the savegame! to make the hack run but it dose not let me pick witch save game i wanna run even if i have 4 gta game saves is there anyway i can load the game and then load the “Brown Ale -By- Fanjita” from the load game? menu

just take out ur memory card and start up gta. Play the game from the start and pass the first mission. go back to your apartment and place in your memory card. then save or load your non eboot savefile. simple as that. If you didnt know it auto boots from the newest save which happens to be the eboot one duh.

Yeah, number 15, have you ever stopped to think that there could be people with 2.01+ that can’t downgrade to 1.5? Not only that you have to get an iso of GTA for it to work, which is hopeless unless your a pirate or a person with one of those 4gb hard drives and can actuallu use the iso ripper homebrew.

Check Fanjitas site for compatibility list, (problem is so many people don’t know about his list and site) He has a list of a ton of homebrews and wheather they work or not. You may need an olderverion of it. Also, Dr. Mario is a kernel app, meaning that it’ll only work for 1.5 until the eloader can emulate that problem (which wasn’t even fixed in the tiff loader for 2.0) If your useing the doom-psp quake 2 hack, you should be able to find an olderversion of doom that works on the eloader, from there add the quake 2 mod. Hope that helps.

with this patch the gba and de snes emu’s dont work for me anymore. the emu starts but when i want to start a rom the psp shuts down before the patch it work fine.

I’m having the same problem with pspgba as #22. It was working fine (except for the slowdown) before the patch. I tried reinstalling every thing but no luck. Any ideas or is it a new bug??

I installed brown ale, got dr. mario to play on both nes and snes…..also fixed sound on gba..was slow and terrible..ran and tested Fear worked great…also was able to play doom and quake with no problems. Beats of Rage plays great but sound lags a little…using 2.5 filmware…found bug in brown ale -emailing fanjita

42 are you fucking stupid, if your using the GTA exploit you are already upgraded enought to play most wanted. It’s people like you that hold back homebrew and continually force sony to update their security. Fanjita has said many times, he will never make an iso loader. Live with it.

hi im new at this stuff, I bought a psp hoping that I could download archived games to my psp via a program called emule (which I think is a torrent program) I read on wiki that he iso images are in these rar files, is there any way I can get these isos onto mh psp The psp is coming in the mail tommorow can anyone tell me what firmware version it will have and if I can load these isos. sry im really new at this. bottom line, I dont want to have to BUY all my games.
