i cannot stand psp 2.6. I have it and am stuck. This site never explains itself very well. but it is the best. people always say stuff frezes when they try it. i mean what is the point. they may never make something right

Itsworking for me on 2.6 but it dosent respond. i dont mean the application froze i mean that the psp kind of became unresponsive to any buttons EVEN the home button.

I am a noob. I recently upgraded my PSP from 2.01 to 2.6 knowing that It would reduce the number of loadeable homebrews a great deal. I didn’t do it because of false hope in Fanjita, or because I didn’t know any better, or because I am a noob. I did so because I wanted to. Sure, I’m hopeful that someday someone will make these things work for higher upgrades, but I don’t place my faith in it. Mainly because I know that none of the programs want to touch the hassle of hacking 2.6.
Frankly, Fanjita is no more guilty of seeking glory and not caring than those programers who will only make homebrews for 1.0 and 1.5. At least Fanjitas eLoader is a benchmark success. If he never does anything else he will have done what no one else has attempted to do thus far.
I know, I know, no you all think of me as Fanjita’s B**ch. Whatever.
My point is this: Some people are dooped into doing un-necessary things and some do things simply bewcause they want to. Just leave it at that. Don’t tear eachother down for individual actions or opinions.
And for the record: I am hopeful that PSP will get some good games. They have a handful already. And it’s my upinion that having a PSP just for the sake of running homebrews and emulators is no greater a cause than playing UMDs, movies, and browsing the internet.
