Duke Nukem 3D PSP Port

StereoMike has released a port of the old classic PC game, Duke Nukem 3D – now fully playable on your PSP (with a few bugs)!
This PSP port is based on the original work by Jonathan Fowler, Jfduke3d and can be viewed here.
Below is from the readme.txt, included with this release:
INSTALLATION
To install on FW1.5, copy Duke3d and Duke3d% to your PSP/GAME folder.
To install on FW1.0, copy Duke3d to your PSP/GAME folder.You will also need the DUKE3D.GRP file from the original Duke Nukem 3d. Copy DUKE3D.GRP to the Duke3d folder. I don’t know if the shareware version works.
CONTROLS
Analog: Movement
Pad: Move in menus
Pad-Up & Pad-Down: Select Weapon
Pad-Left & Pad-Right: Select Item
Cross: Use
Circle: Fire
Triangle: Jump
Square: Crouch
Left trigger: Strafe left
Right trigger: Strafe right
Select: Menu escape
Start: Menu select & Use item
Known bugs:
- The pitch of Duke’s voice is a bit too high making him sound a bit “strange”
- No loading(saving works…)
- No music
- Not completely stable, may crash when starting a game and exiting
- The key-bindings are a bit tricky to change since you can’t delete the old ones.
- The “Press any key to goto next level” only reacts to pressing “Start”

Well for the GRP file u need to do a search around for the extremely old game DUKE NUKEM 3D
among the installation files and such will be the file you’re looking for
But yea, can anyone confirm if it works for 2.01+?

If you want the GRP file download the shareware version of Duke Nukem 3D, and it is in the install package… there’s a website called google that might help you find the shareware verison…
Information regaurding 2.o users (note this is not for 2.0+)
As far as I’ve seen Ive used the .9 fanjita eboot loader for 2.0 on this program (using the 1.0 version of course) and it seemed to work well even though the loader gave me a warning about kernal detected in homebrew. Just push x and continue thru, the only problem I have seen on this is Duke3d freezing whenever i try to load a file, though it saves just fine (go figure).
on another note I have the full version of Duke Nukem 3d (I still actualy own the origrinal CD believe it or not) I will post the link of my website that will host the .grp file (wich is 25megs) that will give you access to the whole Duke Nukem game with all the levels, sound effects, music, and ai of the orriginal game it self.
Keep in mind my bandwith on a free web site will be limitted and not all will recieve it, I ask if this happens for someone to start thier own website as well and post up as well.

Download this sharware, install the game and than you will have Duke3d.grp in the install dir.

#16, how did you get it to work on 2.0? I have tried FW1.0 and FW1.5 versions with eBoot loader 0.9, it says the kernal thingo, i press x, and then blank screen….. Please fill me in :)

Will Duke Nukem 3D Atomic work for this homebrew?
Duke Nukem 3D Atomic works, but the final episode thats in the Atomic version only will not load, I think its because of the video sequence at the begining

About the duke nukem on 2.0, you push x on the eboot loader to by pass it (read the text on the black screen it will tell you button to use) I dont know if its diffrent on others, but thats what I pushed to get mine working.
i have got this workin easily on my version 2.6 though the exploit! If any1 wants to ask me how go for it i will porbabaly reply l8r tonite or tomoz:)
Works fine on my 2.0 but I am still using the 8.8.5 eboot loader
It will work with Atomic, but you can’t load the 4th episode without it crashing.
any one no how to start it up on 2.0 i did press x on the kernel warning screen but then it takes me to a blank screen nothing happens some give me more info plzz?????

Im havin probs locating the .grp file. I think ive found it but wen i put it in da right place nowt happens. Any help? (oh yeah, im on 2.6).Also, i have the original game disk (hooah!) so if i can get it wrkin i will have all da levels n stuff. Thanks lads
yeah i’ve been waiting long for this:P you can change controls in game if you use the .grp file from the high resolution pack for duke 3d.
