Organize Your Homebrew!

Posted by greg

modsyn has written something new for 1.50 homebrew users. With this new handy script titled Ogranise (yes, that’s the spelling), you’re able to easily sort your homebrew icons under the GAME menu without the use of a PC - it’s done directly on the PSP - handy for when you’re on the go!

Organize your PSP Homebrew on your PSP!

How to use:

Hold down the X button and use up and down either on the analog stick or the d-pad to sort the list of homebrew the way you like it. Once you’ve got the order you want, hit start. Confirm that you do want to save and it’ll do its thing. If you don’t want to save, hit Circle.

Download Ogranise v2

and discuss in our forums, here

Thanks modsyn!

Wow, can people really be that anal about sorting their homebrew? If it had a corrupted icon remover maybe I would’ve considered it.

it puts all of the corrupt icons
down at the bottom of the list.
so, if you have lots of games in
your games folder then you won’t
see the corrupt icons so they
    shouldn’t bother you. :)

Yes, but sometimes the order of the games bothers me. So its good to have this option avalable on the go.

It still doesn’t remove the icons, I really don’t mind if the program absolutley needs to have the folder named like that to work (just gota make sure you don’t delete the corrupted icons on the psp ;) Did that before and it went berserk and had to reformat!) anyways, it’s a pretty simple idea that lets people manage things, all it really does is it just changes the time edited on the folder so the PSP reades the folders edit date and orders them. I guess it’ helpful to some, but not me I guess.

If you want to hide your corrupt data use this http://www.nuevasconsolas.com/PSickoPortableV0.2b.zip it works pretty good.

Dude modsyn samrt.. i was getting so annoyed by deleteing all my programs and pout them all back one by one so i woldent have to scroal all the way down to the bottom to play a game with a loder.. man thanks. and ofcourse if wont remove icons.. no 8.. anyways why the hell would you want to remove the icons.. and if you delete the corrupted icons you just have to reput that file back on you psp.. so the file that was using it would work againg.. you dont have to format it. you idiot.

Or you can do it using SeiPspTool. But it requires your computer to be on and your psp connected. it allows you to change the order of your applications and homebrew and hides certain Corrupted Icons. And puts the Corrupted Icons which can’t be erased (IE. Snes9x) to the bottom of the list..

Woah, sorry to offend people. It really is a good homebrew, and I really apreciate that he solved many people’s problems. I know I could use Sei to remove the icons and I’m saying it would’ve been cool to add that function. Also, I’m saying that I just think the organizer is a useless tool for people like me who don’t really care about the icons. But I do like the fact that it organizes the icons, I’m really sorry for offending bob and modsyn. Kudos,, and it’d be really cool to add some new features to really pump up this homebrew!(I’d totally download Organizer 3 if it had a corrupted Icon remover, totally hate haveing to use Sei all the time, thanks!)

Hey. Pretty neat. I can only move my corrupted icons with it though :S. Doesn’t really detect the none corrupted ones. So just like the opposite of what #5 said, its the top of my list right now :(.
